both consoles run some games just fine at 1080p. both also can't run some games just fine at 1080p. this is the same exact thing that happened with ps3 and 360, people seem to be forgetting that or something.

Talking about trying to generalize wow.
I think there is 1 game on the PS4 that isn't 1080p and that is BF4. While There are what like 6 that do run at 1080p for the Xbone.

This isn't close to the same thing with the PS3 and 360. We didn't have these huge resolution/frame rate differences and effects. We had minor, res and frame rate differences you couldn't even see in most cases.

Except you can probably count the games on one hand that were full time 1080p on 360 and PS3. This time I expect more games to be 1080p than not. At least on the PS4 anyway.

If I didn't just pay sub $5 during the steam sales I would be all over it. It was a pretty good game other than the "mash x" at certain points.

Also is that a custom screen size or one you can order easily? How big is it?

I can fit about 100"x65" in my (new) location and luckily that's a pretty standard size.

I turned on my PS3 for the first time since I've had the PS4 and I had forgotten how damn slow the PS3 is to do anything, god forbid you download anything. I downloaded God of War Ascension which was 36GB and it freaking took forever. Plus not having to wait to install a game, I hate going back to the PS3. Even the Last of Us DLC which was around 5GB took forever.

Glanced at a couple reviews. Not looking too shabby. Ign gave it 7.5 with minor complaints about easy fodder enemies and then a frustrating boss encounter that ruined the flow. Still looks good enough for me.

I have a 50Mb connection, the PS4 downloads similar file sizes so much faster. Probably because they dedicate more power to that task than the PS3 did.

Huh, I have the same internet speed. I never really noticed I guess because I pick a bunch of downloads and just let them finish (on PS3).

The speeds have been faster for me on ps3. Since I've gotten power Ethernet adapters my speed on the ps4 increased to 24mb down. I have a 50mb line.

If you are using wireless for the PS3, try using wired if you can. For some people it dramatically improves wired.

yay for sony's support! i contacted them on sunday around noon to ask how i could get a replacement ps4 controller. i stated to them about 30 times that it gets no power and can't hold a charge, and doesn't worked plugged in, yet they had me try to turn the ps4 on via the controller and a buncha other stupid shit. after about 45 minutes they told me that i'd be receiving an email within 24 hours to give me instructions how/where to send it in to get it replaced.

it's now 48 hours later and i have no email. was hoping to get my controller before the end of the month so i could try out the free psn game this month, but doubt that is going to happen now.

I thought you sent it in a while ago. I remember months ago you talking about the controller breaking. Call them again, check your spam. When Verizon replaced my phone I too didn't get an email with the info until a day or two later and it was in my spam box.

I think if you sign in on the web see if you can cue the game to download on your account. Or does the ps app on the phone allow you to download to the console yet?
