I've finally made my first purchase since near launch. Preordered GTA V since I didn't pick it up on the PS3. I currently have way too many Steam games in my backlog to spend quality time on the PS4. Hopefully, this will change that.

In settings have it set to auto login to the main account. I think it's under account settings.

That still isn't "much touted". He is responding to questions about it. Not exactly hyping it up.

And why do you think people are still asking about it? Because it was much touted at release, and now Sony is hush until people nag them over it. It was one of the most discussed features of the pS4 after its original announcement. Their inability to execute is obviously why they only respond to questions and don't proactively talk about it.

Also mentioned same day at engadget and others. Whether you care or not about it many people do and a year later we still don't have it, nor even word on when we will, if ever.

I still believe suspend and resume will be added kind of how dlna was added later on ps3. While suspsend and resume sounds nice that's not why I bought a ps4. It was price and now price doesn't matter because now I also bought a Xbox one bundle for $180.

wish i never used my free psn+ year i got when i won my ps4. i literally played resistance for about 10 minutes. i played resogun for a little bit too, but a big waste. i should have saved it until something i wanted to play online came out.

I know some people last year bought multiple codes from Amazon but they probably used them and stacked them. I have a free year of live that I haven't activated yet but it would be nice to get the same deal as before.

After the last several months of indie shit, I won't be renewing PSN+ until I am convinced Sony won't keep giving us freebie crap I can't be bothered to play for free. They let out some really nice AAA games earlier in the year, but now it's just indie rubbish. I know some vocal minority of indie fanboys guzzle that garbage up, but the money proves that most people want high budget games by major studios. If it could have run on an SNES I don't want it.

I've seen several deals already close to the $30 price of BF. Dont worry someone will have it again, probably amazon. I bought 4 years worth last year

That's because the system is still new so they aren't going to be giving away new games for free. Just like how it was for PS3 the games were good but they were old.

Yes and the Xbox one hasn't been getting huge AAA games for free on their games with gold.

As the library grows you will see publishers willing to let their major releases appear on PSN+

i just got an email that sony auto-reupped me for a year for $50.

if they don't refund me this bullshit, i'm disputing with my credit card. this is fucking ridiculous. i never even once paid for ps+ and they auto-reup me.

maybe. i don't know why i would even have to do something like that when i simply redeemed a card, i never went through any signup process or payment process that said to auto-reup me.

i don't even know how they have my credit card information. i never once entered cc info on the ps4. last thing i purchased was a course on hot shots golf on ps3 like 3 years ago.

I dunno, really don't. Mine expired and didn't warn me. I was trying to do something on Destiny and it denied me one day. Had no clue. At least MS warns you on Xbox. A week before it expired it says something about "renew your gold to keep your benefits" or something. Sony does no such thing.

well at least the online chat seems to be very helpful and is removing the charge as well as the auto-renew.

it appears that in the TOS it says it will auto-renew you unless you cancel it yourself.

dirty ... very dirty.

When I redeemed my psn plus card from Amazon I remember that it asked for a valid payment card on file. So that's how it must have renewed for you. By default the auto renewal is on.

You can go to setttings, services, psn plus and uncheck auto renewal. I turned it off but Sony sent me an email telling me that it will auto renew. I went and checked my settings and auto renew is set to off.
Good thing Xbox will warn me. I'm still in the 14 day trial period.

Well, something else happened because when you use a card the entire point is so it doesn't charge your card and doesn't renew automatically.

Yea I need to check my bank account as I usually don't. Also going to check the psn plus options in the ps4. I haven't turned the ps4 on since I got the X1 because I've been messing with the games I've bought trying to get them all to install and test out speeds and such.
