Wth? The flag belong nowhere on that thing... The silver is cool.
It's for people that love DRM freedom.
They may look the same, but frame rate, screen tearing and aliasing are a concern to me and I'd rather have the faster, more powerful console to handle those concerns.
welp to be honest, ps3 was more powerful than 360 and ps3 didn't have anti-aliasing at all on most games, and the framerate was worse for cross platform games on ps3.
Things are totally different this time though. The PS3 was notourisly a pain in the ass to code for. This time the PS4 and X1 are the same platform, and in fact , the X1 will be a tiny bit more difficult to code for since they devs have to deal with using the separate 32megs of esram. There is no more difficulties porting between platforms, we will see the differences rather quickly and while at first they wont be too big, as time goes on they will.

How would the American flag represent that exactly? Not to get too political, but isn't America news been all about how much freedom we are losing constantly from the government? How we are being spied on? In fact the xbox one is jokingly compared to our government.... So shouldn't the flag be on the xbox instead?
You do not hold front buffer in esram.Yeah and at the very least you need 24 MB for a 1920x1080x32bpp double buffered + 32bpp depth/stencil buffer. That leaves 8 MB for texture cache and sub/super/multi sampling buffers and render to texture buffers and such needed for AA, DoF, stereoscopic 3D, etc, then vertex streams, etc. Suddenly we can see that 32 MB with 1080p is pushing it.
Exactly. This time it's like they are almost the exact same gaming PC, except the PS4 has a Radeon 7870 graphics card instead of a 7850 and has an extra ~1 GB of RAM available.
So a developer with the same code might get 30 fps on the X1 but 35-40 in the PS4, or might run the PS4 version at the same 30 fps but with the eye candy sliders turned up one notch. It's not going to be night and day, but developers will be able to get better performance for the same effort.
Do you really want more of the white trash America to support it?
It's not close at all. GPU Cores 768 vs. 1152, Memory 133MHz DDR3 vs. 5500MHz GDDR5. It's the difference between a cheap low end card crippled with DDR3, and a good mid range card.
PS4 release date easter egg in Last of us?????

why would you want multy display out? mirroring? because thats all it would be able to as it would not be able to render 2 different streams
Looks like a random date to me, I don't see anything tying it back to the PS4, unless I'm missing something.
