I got the M series 2013 Vizio 60" from Amazon for 1300 and it came with 8 passive 3D glasses.

Vizio is an American company and their M series 2013 line is awesome specifically because of its low profile and thin bezel. The picture quality is fine, just like any other LG. I don't use game mode with my PS3 and don't notice any input lag. Thier remotes are horrible though, throw them in the trash when you get it.

Honestly, I left my Vizio-branded 3D glasses in the box. I like the LG glasses, which have no qualms with the Vizio TV (since it's all LG's technology anyway). The family pack comes in at a nice price and includes pretty much anything you would need with each one individually bagged (in a nice bag!) with its own microfiber cloth. If you already wear glasses, the clip-ons are rather nice.

I definitely don't care for the remote on mine either. It works, but it's far from the best remote that I've used. The fact that the whole IR setup is so dependent on you pin-pointing the remote is the biggest problem.

I'd expect a price drop at gamescon and possibly a memory card price drop with a new 128GB model. The memory will still be way overpriced though.

I would imagine they may put much more time showing vita stuff at this event.

Based on the clock on their site at http://gamescom.eu.playstation.com/, looks like 11AM Mountain Time.

Gaf rumors are putting the release in late October, hoping for that, ready to settle for an early-mid November release tho if that's what it is. I expect GTA5 MP will be taking all of my time in October, so I'm not going to worry to much about it, but man, late October would be cool as hell still.

It's what I did, the remote being garbage was not really a con for me nor was the horrible speakers. (third party speakers)

The Vita itself is not really a bad deal with the $250 bundles. The cards however are the biggest barrier to the Vita. You can't charge between $3 to $5 per gigabyte. That's the price point for enterprise SSDs, not cheap Class 6 NAND. Prices need to drop by at least 50%.

I agree, but a price drop needs to happen for the hardware. Handhelds never do well at that price point.

Yeah and zero built in memory. I mean the 3DS comes with what a 4GB card which is enough for pictures and game saves and even a few digital games.

They don't even use Class 10 and charge that much of a premium? Wow!

Well I believe that games are considered a "launch" title if they arrive within a certain window. However they may push up the street date for some of the games to be released in November if they think they can get a bunch of impulse buyers to purchase them with their new console.

Well, the supply rumor has the consoles coming in Oct 31st, so unless you think they will be getting them on the day they are delivered, an Oct release is unlikely. Nov 5 is interesting because COD usually comes out later and was moved up this year. Could it be due to the next gen consoles? Only time will tell.

I think I am going to hold off on every next gen / this gen game until the next gen comes out. I will probably pick up Madden 25 and the latest Fifa. I might get COD if enough friends grab it, otherwise I'll stick with BF4 on PC.

The Vita needs a price drop. I would never spend over 200 on a handheld when it does not include any useable memory. Haven't really checked the handheld market but prices for the ds and psp dropped but they took some time.

I would be one of the buyers to pick up my ps4 with 2-3 games if they were out when the system comes. I saw some website yesterday, I think ign had two lists one was day one games and the other were launch window games.

Bf4, cod, watchdogs, driveclub were on the day one list. Knack and some others on the launch window list. Who knows, but if most anticipated games are not launched with the system an October launch date would not help much although hey I still prefer it.

I think launch titles are probably anything before Christmas. But, it would be advisable to have as many launch day titles are possible though. Not that it matters, both consoles will sell through almost immediately. The PS3 at $599 sold out in the US the first day.

I think I will go ahead and pre order the 4 games I want since they all seem to fit into the day one list. Either way looks like I'll be making a trip to best buy to pick up the system after work on launch day and then to gamestop which is down the street for games.

Yep you must put a minimum of $5 or more down

From my own tests, they hover around 7-8 Mbytes/s read. Which puts them in between Class 6 and Class 10. Eurogamer did a write up on it when the Vita launched. Not surprisingly the more expensive cards are slightly faster.

I did a comparison a while back and found the Vita Cards are actually slower than Sony branded Memory Stick Pro Duo cards, which were used in the PSP. I got about about 12MB/s for those.

I'm unsure about knack too. It looked fun but I know the ps4 is on my store card and will be payed off before Xmas. The games I plan to buy the same day hopefully are BF4, Cod ghosts, Watchdogs. I have the games covered just need to hope they come on launch day so I'm gonna go reserve them soon.

I will most likely have to get a second ps4 on Xmas for my younger brother since my mother won't be able to afford one for him. He enjoys games a lot more than I do, depends how the grades go haha.
