I didn't like black ops 2 single player. I don't see how ghosts is bad..to me all the cod games are similar. You do the same stuff in every one of them.
If the target deal lets you pick any game available I'll pick it up with killzone and AC.
my brother picked it up at midnight last night. i'm curious to see what he thinks about it. i told him to let me know if it's anything like cod:mw was. that was really his last truly favorite cod as well.
I'm out on Ghosts. I knew it had a chance of sucking but they could have at least got the visuals right.

I'm sure they will patch it soon. That's the new norm, deliver now, patch later. Agile framework with less competent developers.
Which is ridiculous for a game that gets the type of hype it does. Although the reviews are pretty average. Didn't Activision claim they were gonna destroy gta5 sales with this game? Lol... With that attitude the game should have been on point when it comes to performance on each system.

TOKYO (Nikkei)--Sony Corp. (6758.TO) plans to introduce monthly fees of Y500 to Y1,000 for playing certain games on its PlayStation 4 console, which debuts in the U.S. and Europe this month, The Nikkei reported in its Wednesday morning edition.
The company is shifting to a business model geared toward generating profits not only from sales of game hardware and software, but also through a steady stream of income from game services.
Sony will charge fees for games in which two or more online players compete with each other or cooperate to defeat enemies. Such multiplayer games will make up a majority of the slightly more than 30 titles to be launched midmonth in the U.S. and later in Europe.
The monthly charge will be $9.99, or almost Y1,000, in the U.S., and EUR6.99, or slightly more than Y900, in Europe. Sony intends to charge Y500 a month in Japan when the console is released here next February.
Given that multiplayer games are currently free to play on the PlayStation 3, Sony plans to make the PS4 versions more attractive by ramping up social networking functions, such as the ability to chat with fellow players. The firm is also setting the PS4's price at $399, $100 less than the PS3's initial price. Sony aims to quickly sign 20 million contracts for the paid services.
Microsoft Corp. already offers similar social networking capabilities on its Xbox console series.

umm ... it has been known for months that you have to pay for PS+ to play ps4 games online.
They haven't offered a monthly PS+ sub until now, though, right? Maybe that's that significance of this press release. *shrug*
Not really my little bro had psn+ for over a year before the ps4 said it was needed for gaming online.

Sorry, I meant the PS+ sub available in a monthly format. I thought that up until now, you could only buy PS+ in 3-month or 12-month increments.
I am really considering canceling my preorder. I just don't want to go through the hassell of selling it at this point. I am far more excited about other projects. =(
Anyone want a day one edition that didn't get a preorder in? If you do PM me, I can have it sent to your house on release day if you want to work something out. I won't charge over retail + tax (if there is any on Amazon).
If you don't want it you can just return it to amazon they may even send you a return shipping label. Not sure if you just pay shipping back or not.
