Just an observation....

When I try to say a good game is bad, people form arguments explaining why I'm mistaken, and point out numerous things the game excels at.

When I bring up a bad game is bad, I get a lot of "that's a subjective opinion" "reviews don't matter" "graphics don't matter" and other such nonsense responses. Oh, and personal attacks.

Lurking this section of ATF it's already clear who belongs to what circle and who will argue with you regardless of your opinion.

Kudos for sticking to your guns. I found Knack boring and almost unplayable when sober and by myself. Throw in a second person and lots of drinks and it is by far the best game on PS4.

Ryse, after the first play through I had zero inclination to reload it. I can only stomach the same kill sequence for the x-trillionth time.

Shadowfall - OMFG was that boring. It's as they fired the staff half way through and hired a new one. And why can I only carry one different gun? Did I miss something?

Kill Instincts - It's KI...sort of like every other fighter that gets updated. You only play it because it is the current version. /shrug

Forza 5 - no complaints, decent racer, not really better than Horizons, but, definitely worth having (free too, thanks MSFT ).

After dropping all the money on the consoles I'm so bored with them. And I don't even hardcore play like it seems some people here do (paraphrase "I put 3600 hours into X-game and still love it!" )

PS4 - Best Netflix player ever.
Xbone - has absolutely no use for me, wish I had something to play on it.

Second Son better be good, and Xbone line up is bone dry, I hope E3 announces Halo 2 Anni because this is pathetic.

Picked up CoD and NFS strictly to have and maintain a complete library and because they were $39.

I swear you'd think I was 13 and buying baby diapers or condoms or tampons or something as ashamed as I was standing in line.

I suppose my nephew will have at least $39 worth of fun out of it.

I've heard good things about NFS Rivals though.

I played about 2 hours of the single player and 3-4 in MP. I didn't know it was possible to make such a boring game. I thought it was so bad, I sold it for $30 and didn't finish it.

With that $30 I purchased Red Dead Redemption, Mass Effect 2, and God of War 3. Playing all of them for the first time. :thumbsup:

Sounds like you're just not impressed with the current line up, don't fret though, a lot of people are in the same exact boat. I wasn't exactly impressed with Shadow Fall, Knack (this game is terrible...), or Contrast (terrible). The only launch title from Sony's camp that I loved was Resogun. Resogun is a fantastic game and it looks gorgeous. Shadow Fall's campaign is very dry and I definitely had to force myself to finish the game. The multiplayer however is actually pretty good, but.. you have to like FPS multiplayer to enjoy it, otherwise it's basically the typical run of the meal FPS.

I don't have an Xbox so I can't comment on those titles, but I will have one come 3/11. I ordered the Titanfall bundle solely based on the Titanfall demo on PC. I prefer gaming on consoles nowadays so I had to get a XB1 to play it, so I did. I'm also a fan of fighting games so I'm looking forward to KI as well. This Fall is going to bring some very good titles. I'm looking forward to the future of these consoles. If I dwell too much on the current line up I simply get sad and feel like I'm wasting money.... I just have to keep thinking about the future titles and I then get the giddy feeling back.

Killzone is pretty but its pretty much the poster child for generic cookie cutter shooter.

People tried to talk it up about how dynamic it is and you can make choices...sneak up and take down or go in guns blazing.

Yeah that's every FPS since 1999.

I'm actually playing it right now. I started it in November when the console came out, got extremely bored of it and didn't play it again until last night. There's a reason why I stopped playing, it's so damn boring. Plus the gorgeous outdoor environments of the opening levels are gone and all you play is boring and ugly indoor environments. I'm just trying to finish it so I can sell it and put the money towards inFamous.

It shouldn't take you long. Multiplayer is alright but man I had to push myself to finish it. I finally beat it a month after it came out and got $40 bucks for it at best buy.

I bought 2k14 and have been playing that since. I should trade in ghosts too but I haven't finished sp on it yet. I honestly placed the disc in the system twice since I bought it at the target buy 2 get one deal.

Really can not wait for infamous. Wasn't a huge fan of the first two games but I liked them enough and this one looks great. Take a look at the making of the explosions and environment physics on YouTube. Definitely hope it delivers.

Haven't got to play it myself but the art direction is very pleasing to look at. I enjoyed KZ 3. Sure you just run down path and shoot but like Painkiller it's still fun.

Hint: If it's an older game, chances are what it did wasn't "generic" when it did it, so holding it to that standard is stupid.

Also, many older classics/gems simply haven't been replicated in many ways. Not because they can't be, but because no one has tried. That makes the "generic factor" a non-issue.

Why are you forcing yourself to finish? Doing something you don't enjoy for no money (or actually PAYING for it) is certifiably insane... you either need to sell it now or you're over exaggerating how much you dislike it.

I'm fine with these late releases after dealing with the frustrating mess know as the BF4 PC launch. It's easier to have hope for a game than dealing with a buggy mess.

I've played 1 hour since December(after the latest patch). Issues still remain on all platforms.

From what I read before drive club was delayed because the social integration was not ready to work with psn. You will be able to post challenges from your smartphone and tablet and accept them 24/7 and they said that this part of the game just wasn't working. Maybe they need to wait for some further system updates and they don't expect them until the summer.

I hope watch dogs is not delayed again. The reason they delayed it was because they ended up patching the network features before release and that broke other things so yea. Hopefully they get everything right by then.

You're reading it wrong, in the article it says April 4 not September 4. In Europe they use the day of the month first then the month number.

hah that is pretty funny. i'll definitely check out driveclub. hopefully it's arcadey and not sim like. and hopefully it is nothing like test drive unlimited because i thought that game was awful.
