damn... My PS4 has been collecting dust for about 4-5 months now.. Couldn't get into infamous.. and the last game I played was MGS5.
NBA 2K14 was too complex... so maybe i'll trade that game in for something...

quite a few of those paragraphs in his review just make me scratch my head about the direction this game took. considering all of the hype around this game, it really sounds like it isn't even close to living up to it. they hyped this game up as "THE" next gen racer, and it seems far from that.
i still can't wait to try out the ps+ version though. i really hope they get it up by tonight so i can try it out tonight.

The game is starting to grow a bit more on me as I get better at handling the car more precisely. But like I mentioned before, I love the old school racers compared to many of the modern ones for some reason but maybe this is one of those games where gamers have to play it for a while. most of the reviews..including my own, seems to be initial reactions, perhaps being spoiled from other racers we're used to?
I'm almost interested in NFS Rivals on PS4 too but not sure, think I'll just tough this one out until the Crew comes out but the graphics in DC will probably spoil me for most racers.
I loved Geometry Wars... I'm skeptical of the changes they made in this one though. I'm hoping it's good... but I'm worried.
I'll watch some one stream it on ps4 first, as long as it looks fine and they don't have any major problems I'll get it.
They cube rolling around looked crazy but pretty cool. You have to do new things, especially with arcade games
well that is the problem i kind of have with it - it's NOT new. it's the same thing that has been done with super stardust.
rivals is fucking terrible. i bought it for $20 and played it for like 45 minutes and never played it again. it's really really bad.
i've also found it amusing how the sony fanboys aren't crying about driveclub being 30fps, but if any game on x1 is 30fps they bash it lol. just been reading a lot of forums/threads today and it's pretty funny.
Some single platform owners enjoy bashing anything that's not to their preference. Gamestops console wars forums is the funniest and most immature stuff I've ever read but likely they are not crying about it cause they don't notice the difference much, nor do I. They only bash the difference in numbers. If Dclub was also on Xbone and it got 60fps instead, that alone starts the match despite neither side probably even would notice the difference. Some of us just aren't that sensitive to frame rates or maybe it's to do with buffers or some such I dunno.
I could make up any number for a performance difference between a PS4 and Xbone game on a chart and make it look like it's real and that alone would do the exact same thing between the fanboys.
Likewise, if I did such a chart to an upcoming game that showed a console outperforming a PC version or having some features or details that the PC version did not contain.....that also starts a huge flame war.....and I've done it before on another forum a few years back which was hilarious for me but I think all those guys just enjoy bashing other platforms period.
No one can deny that the PS4 is more powerful than the Xbone, it's just how it is and any multi platform game I'm going with the PS4 version............ BUT the PS4 doesn't have games like Dead Rising or Forza Horizon. There are good reasons to own both.
Well destiny has had very few issues on ps4 and that is a completely online game. That tells me it is the developer more often than not anymore.
Forza 5 and horizon 2 both have had server issues and that isn't the fault of XBL.
that's great. i don't care about destiny so it's irrelevant to me. the genres and games i have played and like have tended to be a lot better online experience wise on ms than sony platforms, including games i own on both platforms (iterations of sf4).
and i haven't experienced any issues with horizon 2 online so no qualms here about it.
