It's a first person simulator where you join a race club with friends and challenge other clubs. You can setup races and challenges from yopur phone or tablet too and see who can beat your challenge.

24/7 365 from all over the world.

Not bad, something I probably wouldn't buy until it was cheap as I'm not a huge racing fan, but an extra game at no extra cost (since I already have PS+ paid for over a year) for a launch system is always welcomed.

Not bad, something I probably wouldn't buy until it was cheap as I'm not a huge racing fan, but an extra game at no extra cost (since I already have PS+ paid for over a year) for a launch system is always welcomed.

Supposedly the guy who created it is a car nut so he detailed the cars. The carbon fiber is done stitch by stitch and layer by later. Each LED on the headlights works independantly and you actually walk around the car(s) in real time and can lift the hood etc and just drool over it before you open the door and strap in. All in first person.

It seems cool in concept

No the GPU has twice as many ROPs on the PS4 and has 33% more CUs on the PS4. Also the Xbone uses 3 god damn gigs of ram for the OS 2 CPU cores and 10% of the weaker GPU. The PS4 is technically superior plain and simple. Cheaper and no damn bullshit DRM.

I had an XBone pre-order at Amazon just in case both it and the PS4 were the same price, with the sole intention of selling it before Christmas, now I don't think I'm going to even bother.

Did pre-order a PS4 however, but I can't imagine it coming out Dec 31st like Amazon claims.

December 31 is just a placeholder date they use until they have a real one. You'll see it when pre-ordering games that don't have a firm date yet too.

If that's the worst news I can live with it. PSN+ does give you free games every month though, not just for July - November like MS is doing.

MS has got to be crapping themselves. All they can do is try an undue what they said. Sony just completely owned them. I'm psyched. I haven't owned a play station since the PS1.

I'm really impressed the way Sony has taken charge with next gen consoles. They cut the bs and answered all of my main concerns. Props to Sony, they'll be getting my money for sure. I'm just hoping for a greatly improved multiplayer/online experience since it's now behind the PS+ paywall.

True for online play you will be paying basically 5 dollars a month or 60 bucks for a year. Everything else though will not require a PSN+ account. That imho was the only downside to their announcement. Everything else was Sony pouring salt on MS and the XBox One (No DRM, No constantly needing to be online to "check in", being able to sell and trade your games without any hassle from Sony, etc) which includes the price of the PS4 console itself at $399.

i personally don't mind, i have a few friends who will but yea it gives you soo much free stuff even now.
