I don't think Sony attacked EA. EA will still make Madden and such for the PS4. Microsoft just wanted them at their reveal.

Just EA was all up MS's ass because now they can cut out used games on that platform. I watched an interview with Moore and he tried to do all the PR speak to not give an answer when asked if EA would allow game trades and it came off sounding like yes even though he didn't give an answer, he tried dancing around the question and the interview even said it sounds like you guys are lol.

Gamestop is up to their old tricks. They don't want people buying consoles to resell so online they sell bundles with an extra controller and game only and they're all $500+.

Games are listed at $59.99 pricing though. Didn't someone say Amazon listed $99?

My one request from Sony is that they upgrade that mess called the PSN Store. I get very frustrated trying to use it on my PS3.

My best advice with the PS3 + PSN Store? Use it on the PC:

It works significantly better, and I think it will automatically start game downloads now like the 360 does. I haven't tried that feature with the PS3, but I have with the Vita, and it works on there.

Anyway, I'm not sure if it's a connectivity issue or a cumbersome software problem on the PS3. The latter would be fixed by the PS4's superior hardware, but the prior... there's no fixing that. Arguably though, the link I provided above does load significantly faster!

I wish I could see the Amazon preorder comparison right now.

That's just for voice communication. The audio comes from your receiver or TV.

Thanks. So it applies to disc based products (DD may be different). I wonder how that jives with the previous comments from Shuihei Yoshida about Sony not requiring online registration, but leaving that up to developers? Probably overly skeptical, but you know... PR guys.

DD is tied to your account. So you log-in on another console and download your games. Same as PS3 is now really. You can't play games from an account you aren't logged into.

In theory, if Microsoft is so pigheaded as to stand their ground and not back pedal.

The only way Sony can win any more than they did tonight is if MS backs down then we all win.

That would be the best possible outcome.
