Just faxed the PO to order a rack!

They do have to take PO's in the order they are received, but since this isn't any thing as large as the projects their used to
we shouldn't have to wait too long.

I have some stuff i wanna send in, that's not in use, and probably won't BE used by me.

I have:

2x Celeron 366
2x Celeron 400
1x Abit BP6 - Not sure if it's working
1x Duron 700 - Again, not sure if it's working

The not-sure-if-working stuff will be donated anyway, even if they're just for decoration!

I'll also see what else i can dig up as i'm unpacking boxes

However, i'll need some help with shipping costs to LANMAN, as i'm currently out of a job and can't afford the shipping really!

Alright everyone,

I made the leap of faith!! I ordered 5 racks at a cost of $1275.00 since we already have an order from Networkman, and I donated the first rack, we needed only three more to get the $60.00 discount. I took it upon myself to pass-on the extra savings to those who believe in this project as much as I do. For those that want one, look at it as $60.00 of free shipping.

Once the first rack is off the assembly line, I'll shoot several pics so you can see what your getting for your money and then anyone can send me a PM if they would like the other two.

I figure we have a bit of cash in the pay pal account to start the payment on #2 rack so I know eventually we'll get it paid for too, so again I thought about it all last week and couldn't stand to have fellow TA members pay the extra money when we we're already so close!

I don't have a digital camera
The camera stuff I want is like $450. Nice lense 3 or 4 mega pixel record to CD.
<sigh>

What I really would like is $25,000 equipment, camera digital record.

My rack I ended up building is like 7 feet high and 4 feet wide, its in the bedroom. On the top sits the TV and cable box.
The next 2 shelfs are about 14 1/2 inches high and they are 2 level for the ferrets (4 of them). On the next 2 shelfs are the motherboard units 4 boards on each shelf with the power supply in front and floppy. The bottom shelf is basicly the floor area but about 2 inches off. The shelf above that I think I am going to adjust so I can put in another shelp so that I can have 3 shelfs for computer stuff and perhaps a total of 4. I'm not sure if I got the steel and wood cor 4 but I'm pretty for 3.

We should start talking about specific's, such as protocol, setting up remote access for the project leads and negotiating time to donate to other DC projects based on donations and fundraising. Also with the project where it is it looks dougbtfull that we'll ever crunch a single 3.03 Work Unit. We'll need someone to head up a discovery for deploying the SETI2 client and finding out as much as possible about caching programs and other bits that we'll likly need.
