OMG !! :Q

Excuse me while I pick up my teeth...
And wipe from drooling over the KVM....

That's a great donation!! I wish I could help with the shipping, but I just got off the phone with the rack makers and I'll be donating about $1080.00 towards the first 4 racks, and when
the first one is online, that won't even consider the first months power bill.

Because of the increasing size already, I'm seriously thinking about moving the project to the A/C'd room so I don't have to do it later, and so the equipment runs in a cool 66 degrees.
I'll have to move a stock shelf out of there to make room for the new racks, but it should fit fairly well. I'll have to double check with the electrician to ensure the outlets can handle the demand
we're going to need too.

On to the racks, I called the engineers (not "THE" Engineer ) and asked the status of the project and they have all the steel cut and now waiting to bend it into place. Once the first one is done
I've asked to visit for pic's (if they allow cameras in the building..).

Hope y'all enjoy the stuff!

I got the $16.00 donation... you are very generous.

I will ship as soon as I get enough to cover it.

Lanman - yeah it IS a nice KVM... I just don't need it anymore. I think I got it on a promo directly from Cybex for $200.00 or something plus the cables (which are pretty friggin expensive... they're the medium length ones, not the shortest ones...)

And guys... I'm sorry about the payPal only, but I'm so incredibly busy, that PayPal is the only way I can keep all the money straight.... OK?

TTYL,

LastKnight ans soni... You guys are to be congratulated for stepping up... Bravo!

Guys... It's close enough.

I'll package up the stuff and ship it out UPS on Monday...

Lanman, unless one of the two PMs I have waiting on me is your shipping address, I need the full shipping address and a contact phone for the UPS shipment.

I see the Team still has spirit!

BTW, the two C300a processors that I donated are from the original 24 identical processors that powered WarpCore... so in a way, it will still live on in the new monster!

Thanks for letting me be a small part of the new project...

Cautery hasn't been feeling too well, so I sent him a care package to get him over the flu.

It's the least I can do after a donation like that and we have to take care of our people!! Everyone has to monitor their S@H pc's right?

Down time is unacceptable! :| :Q

Get well dude !!

Mike, the foreman, wasn't in to take my call. So instead I left a message for him and emailed the draftsman to have her check on the status.

I know it's been some time since we started all of this, but at the beginning an actual rack wasn't part of the plans. I will admit however the speed as to the development
of the blue prints took longer then I expected, but once the order was placed in mid December I don't think 4-6 weeks was an abnormal waiting period for production.

We have definitely hit the projected due date for the completion of the racks so I'll be turning up the heat on the company to finish them. I believe next contract I sign there will be a statement added as to addtional charges being applied to the company if the projected delivery date is not met. Say every day 5% of the total cost?

Rest assured, with over a thousand dollars tied up in this project, I'm just as anxious to get this thing up and running as you are. Plus Networkman offered his assistance to put it together when the racks are done.
The company is local so we don't have to worry about shipping, so it will be cash and carry right to the hosting site.

Thanks for your patience,

Not really sure as of yet, but if I had to take a guess, probably 25-30/day. Being conservative of course.

Even being conservative, I think it'll do more than that.. especially as I still have another batch of equipment for donation.

Each BP6+550 combo will do 4 a day.... plus the rest I would say that is very conservative.

Monday the 12th they should have the first rack ready. I did get an appology from the foreman for taking so long; the first rack should have been ready by the 4th.

So, I'll camp out at our remote office and pay a visit with my digital camera on Monday!

BTW: Nice cabinet Evilroot, but do to the weight and size, I'll have to pass on it. Sure could use it at home though if you were a little closer.
