Nintendo has officially announced the Wii U launch date, pricing, and game lineup today. Looks like it's going to come in two flavours like the 360 and PS3 originally did. A $300 8gb standard model and a $350 32gb model. Doesn't look like the standard model comes with a pack-in game like the Wii did. The Deluxe version comes with "Nintendo Land"
Not much info on specs. It has an IBM mulit-core CPU, AMD GPU, 25gb optical discs, 1080p output via HDMI (comes with cable!). It also seems to be backwards compatible with the Wii since it supports the Wiimote Plus.
Super Mario Bros. U will be a launch title.
It supports video streaming (Hulu, Netflix, network TV, etc) and seems to have better online options.
It will launch on Nov 18th. No word on what other launch titles they'll be besides the two mentioned.
