Liking the Kinect Rivals and Project Spark stuff. The Kinect really shines there. The ubisoft fighting game had some serious lag though. I wonder if that's preproduction code or what.

I agree that fighter looks terrible lol. Fable online only...well I wasn't really interested before but I can safely say I really am not now. As for bundles...the north American market won't see any outside of specific retailers doing one. It is the xbox's strongest region, Europe might need a bit of incentive to purchase vs ps4.

Really weird they just said as soon as next year for the rest of the countries. So my guess is they are letting Sony announce their date and go from there? I'll be pissed if Sony does the same thing. I'll probably be in meetings all day but I'll check one of the threads for some info.

Well, I suppose they may not exactly know when they will release. They do have the HDMI pass through functionality as well as other features on XBL to think about. Remember all the people saying they couldn't use the TV functions and it was useless? Maybe that is why they say "as soon as next year." Because they may not be able to get the proper deals worked out for each region in time. I mean, I don't think most of the world will use fantasy football like in the US for example.

But you would have the option to buy the bundle you prefer. Or no bundle at all. I understand fifa in Europe is huge. I have a lot of European friends here in US and when ever we get together at someone's house, no one objects to fifa or madden. I'm not a huge sports fan at all, and I myself would probably purchase one of the other bundles.

I'm waiting for the ps4 event. I'll hopefully watch on my lunch break. I wonder if most of this stuff is tailored toward just the Eu market, could be why there is no announcement for US yet ?

The hardest part about bundling the Kinect is that Microsoft needs to ensure that the bundle offers value to those that don't care about parts of it. If you tell me that the X1 comes with a Kinect and costs $100 more, and all I do is play multi-platform games, I may consider the cheaper console. Well, now if I can get my favorite multi-platform for free and keep my leet Gamerscore, that may be more incentive as it's only a $40 difference at that point.

It shows off several of the cool things you can do with the kinect in non-motion games that I theorized on awhile ago. Tracking player movement for corner leans, etc.

Looks a lot better than the current connect. Not so sure if that heartbeat sensor will ever work well enough for them to put it into actual games.

Depends on how granular and laggy it is. If you can control it with small motions and its pretty responsive, I can see people getting into it. If you have to flail all over the place and its not reliable, I figure most people will turn it off. Some neat concepts anyways, but execution is everything.

Some of the original Kinect hacks could track finger movements (at least somewhat; I remember a keyboard type hack), so I'd imagine the new Kinect would be more accurate.

I'm buying Forza 5 and Killer Instinct guaranteed. I was thinking of maybe buying a 3rd title but don't know what. Any suggestions? I'm already getting NBA2k14 for PS4. This way I will have 3 games for each. Not that it matters lol.

If I was getting an X1 I'd buy Dead Rising 3, assuming you are excluding multiplatform titles.

Well, I am buying watch dogs and BF4 for PC. I need a console only game. I can't seem to get hyped for dead rising.

Maybe reviews can sway me a bit when we get close to launch and I can decide.

I guess I wanted to even out my starting library. NBA 2k14(unless it's better on XB1 for some reason), Knack(if reviews are favorable), Killzone, and Drive club(PSN+ free edition) on PS4. KI, Forza and I dunno what for XB1. I do hope there are some side by side comparisons of how games on both systems will play. I expect them to be identical but you never know if the controller or network is just a bit better on one or the other.
