It is a Roman platformer. It is Xbox's God of War answer. Too bad they couldn't score Bayonetta 2 instead. The first rivaled DMC3 in terms of gameplay IMO.
i wonder why we didn't have these resolution discussions back in the nes snes/genesis psx/saturn days. even though our tv's could only output 1 resolution, not all games were at that resolution, yet it never seemed to be a problem back then lol.
Because the people on the internet at the time didn't care and would rather argue over Windows 95 vs DOS for games. >_>
The internet was nowhere as large as it is today and there was no websites posting videos of game footage and side by side screenshots etc. Most people got their video game news from the local Toys R us or Electronics Boutique and print magazines like Electronic Gaming Monthly and Game Pro. Something I rather miss. Seeing a new issue of a magazine at the store and saying "OMG look at that...they have an article on Super Metroid" or whatever happen to be the next big hit. Now we know everything sometimes months prior to a release, sometimes we see videos years before a scheduled release.
IRC channels were the place for the latest and greatest news, and some file sharing. >_>
Back in 1992-94 ish?

It probably doesn't help that people kept posting those silly next-gen consoles > PC articles a few months ago. :\

to be honest i can't recall 1 of those articles/posts on these forums since these consoles were first announced. and if there were i probably ignored them because it was obviously a troll post.
what? lol...you responded directly to a couple.

The only one I can think of was the one where they said the PS4 was more powerful than a gaming computer or some other nonsense.
which is retarded to say.
only thing i can think of him claiming i said it, is that to me personally, any console game is "better" than the pc counterpart, and that it would look better on ps3/360 than my personal pc. and that i think any game is "better" on consoles to me because i like consoles better.
it's like how to me any movie > book version, no matter what it is, because i don't like books and reading.
but just because i personally think it is better doesn't mean it has better graphics, because graphics on console can't compete with pc. nor does that matter to me. kinda like my car can't compare to a ferarri but i don't give a shit.
It is confirmed Xbox One HDMI pass through will introduce some input lag due to processing. Someone at MS said, while it was possible to plug a PS4 into it, it wouldn't be ideal due to the addition of lag; for audio / video, it won't be noticeable though.
Here's the source instead of "someone at MS said":

Someone owes me an apology. And before they say "well YOU didn't know", yes I did. It's called common sense and knowing how electronics work ;p
45ms latency is still too much for me. That doesn't account for the internet having a hickup at some hop between me and the server that causes you to miss a jump or something...death by download speed.
That is a prototype. I can only imagine it getting better.
And let's be honest. In a single player game a 45ms ping isn't going to effect you. Multiplayer games have much higher ping than that and you are just fine 99% of the time except in the highest of competitive situations. I don't think you'll be able to stream Street Fighter 4 and have an enjoyable experience if you aren't terrible at the game. But, for something single player, no problems at all.
