A couple of things they've mentioned:
"People will be pleasantly surprised. So far, reactions have been lukewarm, but..."
"There's much more to this game than people have seen..."
"I want to replay this game on nightmare difficulty"
(A different guy) "This is a game that I want to go for all 1000 achievement points."
Interesting.
I guess what I'm trying to figure out is what sort of game it is supposed to be. Is it supposed to be relatively grounded in reality? I don't mean historically accurate, but rather we don't have crazy fantasy elements like gods and titans. Is the play style going to be more like God of War -- the sort of heavy-action, fast-paced brawler? (Not sure if "brawler" is really the right term, but let's go with it.)
I'm really picky about these games. For example, I like the speed of Devil May Cry, but I just cannot play that game very well. I don't know if it's a latent case of lysdexia, but I mix up my angel and demon weapon triggers fairly often, which usually results in me plummeting to my doom. In other words,
too many buttons! I think the PS4-exclusive Knack is a good example of the exact opposite: too slow and too
few buttons.
That's actually the horse I have in this race: will JD work better on the PS4 or Xbone. My daughter has been asking for it.
Keep in mind that getting it for the PS4 will require you to buy the $60 camera.
EDIT:
I don't understand why you guys need to curse so much in this forum.
I think most people assume the no swearing rule only applies to the tech sub-forums (i.e. stuff under the "Hardware and Technology" group). All Things Apple, PC Gaming and Console Gaming tend to be very loose and relaxed sub-forums. Surprisingly, there's rather little fanboy garbage like you see in Mobile Devices & Gadgets or Video Cards and Graphics.
