I found it odd that the store appears to only have the normal edition. If you go to the Smartglass app, it lists both normal (red background) and ultimate (yellow background). However, there is no "buy" option -- it just has "Get on Xbox One", which tries to connect to your X1.

The Xbox store doesn't have a limited edition of Forza either. I was hoping it did, so I could just download it and skip the disc version.

My X1 has not been charged yet. I did ask for overnight shipping (stupid of me), so they waited until today to ship it. I should have done 2 day shipping like everyone else (prime), so it shipped and billed yesterday.

i selected prime free 2 day shipping and it is shipping overnight. it hasn't shipped yet.

yeah i noticed it only had the 1 free version too. i wonder if it's an "in game" purchase only. technically there are 4 versions of killer instinct

I mean seriously, isn't that the reason why we purchase next gen consoles? Otherwise, we'll be perfectly happy with our 360's

plus I'm sure it's a decent arcade game. I couldn't get through crysis 3 (waste of $50 bucks) and Arkham City (another waste of $50). It's just too much. Didn't care for it. Today, if it's not Gamer ADD proof, I can't play it

Poolshark, I was skeptical at first but their prices are incredible. Of course I'll have to take your word that the quality is top notch also.

Harder to flip when it costs more originally. Those who want one will get it anyway. I believe there will be plenty left in some areas like the ps4 did.

A wise decision. I think the Xbone will be an easy resell, but not a particularly profitable one.

Honestly with the holiday season right around the corner both systems are easy as pie to sell. But don't expect a huge profit. Good for ms and Sony launching this time of year too. If only there were more games at launch.

wow... Ryse's graphics is off the chain. So is forza's... I have both PS4 in hand now, and gonna have the xbone soon. Looks like PS4 is a gonna go while Xbone is gonna stay... damn the games are just superior to the PS4 as of now...

funny seeing as pure graphics are the least important part of games

Ryse may look great but its getting hammered in reviews for gameplay

i mean lets not kid ourselves - he has a very valid point. if we didn't care about graphics we wouldn't all have gone out and purchased a next-gen console and would just be sticking to our super nintendo's and genesis! to me though, art style/direction is just as, if not, more important than graphics.

but gameplay is more important than graphics for the most part. but graphics is what we see initially and usually that draws us in. it is just like if you see a movie trailer from early 2000's, in low-def, compared to a movie trailer in high def on a bluray. 99% of the time the new trailer "looks" better just because of the new presentation.

and the only reason i bring this up is because my wife and i watched a movie on amazon prime on ps4 this past week, and we were watching previews for some movies and it was hilarious watching some older previews and how bad it makes the movies look. even the movie we ended up watching, crouching tiger hidden dragon, looked so weak from the trailer.

It's probably proximity to the distribution center. That's the one thing that I like about Newegg versus Amazon. Amazon is too smart when it comes to timing. If order a product on Monday that's located at the Tennessee distribution center, Amazon knows that they can ship it to me on Tuesday to meet the Wednesday guaranteed delivery date. Since that's the case, they normally do that. As long as I order a product on Newegg before maybe... 1-2 PM CST, they'll (almost always) ship it the same day. It's rather common for me to get Newegg deliveries the next day.

To be honest, I'm not really sure what the links had. The Day-One update is supposed to only be 500MB, but both files were 1.2GB. I'd know because I downloaded them both! I'll probably just let it update normally given I'm not exactly sure what I got.

I did as well, and it charged me and is waiting to ship. I was just looking because I would prefer all DD games this generation. That way I can easily swap without needing to change discs.

I'm not arguing that graphics don't play a role. But when graphics is your main reason for choosing something, yeah.....

Also, the ADD comment with needing shit to be boil down to the most retarded levels was were most of my comment was aimed.

It is people like him that we see beloved IP's get dumb down to appeal to a larger crowd. They just make it all pretty and make the game idiot proof removing in most cases nearly everything that made the IP loved to start with.

the days of $1k+ profit are gone. Way gone. Spent 4 days waiting for the PS3, since I saw people were selling XB360's for 4-5K. Especially got excited when I saw the PS3 pre-orders go for 3-4k, the actual unit must sell for double that! Especially since nobody likes Microsoft, PS3 must be a huge hit!!!

Well we know what happened. Too many people thought like me, and eventually, can barely get $300-400 profit. Then people held on thinking Christmas time would be a huge seller. But nope. Profits jumped down to $20-50 bucks per system.

So I ended up returning my PS3, 4 days outside of circuit city to return the damn system lol. But anyways, I think this is a system for gamers, not resellers!

That's why I usually wait until a system has been out for a while and is actually doing something the old system couldn't do. I looked at Anand's XboxOne preview, comparing 360/XBO/PS4, and sure it looked a little better. But it's the same game.

maybe because i'm in my early 30's now and i live alone. That means I grew up with gaming. It's just that I don't want to spend too much time on gaming, unless it's absolutely worth my time. I thought Crysis 3 was gonna be one of those games, but I ended up hating it. The graphics didn't even blow me out of the water. I agree art direction + graphics will probably be what I ultimately look for. I even purchased the last of us, and I can't get through 3 hours of it. God of War Ascension? It feels like work just playing the game... The last game I beat was Max Payne 3, and that was quite fun. Actually, it's Battlefield 4. It's ADD proof enough for me to have loads of fun.

Funny, the MGS series is one of my favorite series. Graphics + Art direction is incredible, despite the 1 hr + cut scenes

I'll give Last of us another try....

nope, i'm in the same boat as you hah. but this same thing happened with the ps4 so i'm not worried at all. i've been charged so it's on the way.

i seriously would rage like a 4 year old tomorrow if for some odd reason my x1 did not make it to me haha (KNOCK ON WOOD).

i've been waiting over a decade for the next killer instinct, and after the announcement it's already been a long ass wait. even my wife is finding it funny how excited i am about this because she hasn't seen me giddy like a 10 year old on christmas before, probably ever. i already told her that i am gonna be gaming all night tomorrow so she better do something else haha.

and the best part is it's her birthday gift to me so i will just tell her i'm enjoying her gift if she tries to give me any crap!

I got my notification from Amazon about an hour and a half ago, and UPS sent me the UPS My Choice shipment notification about half an hour ago. It says between 1:45 and 5:45, but that usually fluctuates.
