Why in the world is BF4 so bad at letting you party up and join as a squad? It's an awful experience...

I tried that also the center channel gets no sound and the sound quality is weak. I am sure this is a common problem

Origin is terrible, battlelog is terrible, the whole thing is just bad. On PC it's not doing a whole lot better. Crashes a lot and fails to connect.
Anyone playing Fifa?
Well, the voice commands have officially jumped the shark. Xbox off no longer works. I get pause and help...

Some people with broken xb1 systems are getting a free game for their trouble and MS has been shipping replacement systems to customers first before the customer sends theirs. Not a bad deal. Seems they want to win over the minds of consumers.

wonder if you are having the same type of NAT issues that i'm having, but i'm having issues in killer instinct. when doing random matches, and when trying to invite friends or start a party to bring to it.
That's what Dell did when I had a broken laptop a few years back. They would send you a new or refurbished system with a box. You placed your system in the empty box with the provided shipping label and sent it back. No need for waiting. That's good MS is doing this. Sony should do the same because their wait times I hear are atrocious on the phone. That and they seem to ship you out a system for next day delivery after they confirm yours is broke.
I like this system better, you get the system as soon as they send it and no waiting. Sony should do this but it doesn't look like they do.

I thought I'd share my experience with this.
I was running W7 Pro x64 SP1. BF3 worked beautifully. Got BF4 and it was terribad. Just choppy, rubber bandy mess. Updated all drivers, waited for couple rounds of patches, ran unparker for my i7, tried disabling HT, tried removing one of my GPUs, nothing worked.
Installed 8.1 + latest drivers and nothing else = boom, BF4 works 100% flawlessly. Zero crashes, can play for hours without the slightest hiccup.
I really dislike 8.1 UI, but man BF4 works awesome on it. I feel like they must have done this on purpose for some reason. No other game is like this.
I've been following both.
Sony is doing express replacement shipments for BLOD PS4 owners :

Microsoft's initial response was 'return your XB1 to vendor', but thank god they did a quick 180 on that, and have now stepped up wonderfully.
The key with either MS or Sony on this is that you have to call their support number, talk to support, and get them to start the RMA process (requiring address, S/N, etc). That's it, boom you get your new XB1 or PS4 on the way, and when it gets there you can send back the old one with the provided box. Sony took a couple of days to get this system really organized, Microsoft appears to have done roughly the same.
Anyone trying to say anything else is spreading FUD at this time, or they didn't follow proper channels, in which it's really hard to blame MS or Sony for it. After all, how can they know to send it out to you if they don't have your complete info?
It's because "Xbox Off" isn't the command, it's "Xbox turn off". I had this problem a lot at first.
