Anyone get BF4 Companion working on their Smart Glass enabled devices? Mine just sits at the loading map screen. I'm using a Surface Pro 2.

Today I couldn't get into a single game. Tried for a solid 10 minutes using matchmaking and the server browser. Ridiculous. I debated trying to get a refund from my credit card but it isn't the retailers fault.

There are wide spread DDoS attacks against games and sites like Steam and BF4 going on right now. Google @Derp DDoS and you will find plenty of articles. I'm a member over at ADK and the data center for our BF4 servers is getting hammered right now causing a lot of issues.
so microsoft must be doing some quiet behind the scenes updates or something. i was getting very annoyed with hearing people talk in the kinect so i went and looked in the settings again, and the privacy settings are TOTALLY different now. they now have a setting to allow who can communicate with you, and it's defaulted to everyone. i just flipped it to friends only but haven't tested it out yet, so man oh man i'm going to be one happy camper if i can't hear people's kinects now when playing!
Drawing comparisons to the Xbox 360, Xbox Live director of programming Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb said Microsoft is listening to feedback and plans to improve its newly released console.
“If you look back at the Xbox 360’s launch, what it was in 2006 when it launched is completely different from what it is now,” Hryb said in an interview with Canada.com. “We didn’t even have things like the party system or the ability to support external storage when we launched the Xbox 360. So we are absolutely committed to adding new features to the Xbox One over the course of its life span.”
Hryb said the team working on the Xbox One “are gamers themselves,” so they want to shape the system into something gamers can enjoy.
“We’re going to continue to refine the system and make it what the Xbox fans are expecting and what they want,” he said. “We’re listening to the feedback every single day. I’ve already seen some changes in the operating system internally with what we’re building.”
The improvements aren’t just limited to the box. Hryb said “refining” the Kinect is a priority moving forward, as it’s part of Microsoft’s overall system approach.
