That's fantastic. I proclaim this the replacement for the Hitler videos. :awe:
problem is a lot more people speak Spanish here than German so they already know what is really being said. That is what made the Hitler videos not funny for me mein Herr.

It's disappointing but not unexpected if you've been following the previews. The only surprising thing is the length which is about half of what a game like this should be. If the reviews were average (7 or 8's) I probably would've picked this up once it hit $20 but with only 7 hours I'll probably skip it completely.

I probably would have paid full price for 15 hours of game play and some replayability. However, this is purely a buy used and quickly resell or rent if available.

I'll be getting it tomorrow and probably be done with it this week to turn into best buy. Ill be making about 30 bucks on this game so I'll use that for next month's game. I'm probably going to play it on hard anyway.

I never play games on consoles. Just checking this thread to see who did the pre-order thing.

I am playing it now, graphics are great and gameplay is a lot of cutscenes, quite a few qte events within an hour so far. The werewolves fights were pretty tough, they pounce and jump on you and you can evade but they go down easily with headshots. I'm playing on hard and the story is a bit confusing, some type of outbreak, and of course you have to figure out why.

I'm sure most of us was hoping this was going to be the first real great exclusive for PS4 but obviously it's not.

I really enjoyed inFamous but it wasn't a great game, not a must buy. It was good but not a game to buy a PS4 over.
I still have to finish infamous. I also think I'll trade in far cry 4..just lost interest.

I will say the order on hard is a bit tough. I got stuck on chapter 3 for a good hour. Just kept dying because one shot and your done. The heal event that happens when you are almost dead is annoying. You have to wait for triangle to appear then you drink this potion or whatever and tap x until you are healed. Really annoying when swarms of enemies come at you and you are not by cover.

So far the game is alright but not something I'd pay full price for. The story is decent, voice acting is good, graphics are top notch. Way too many cutscenes, but their purpose I suppose is to move the story along because it isn't a straight forward narrative.

Weapons have a good feel, but aren't effective at long range. I haven't gotten any of the better guns yet. This one area I was in enemies were really far away and all you had ammo for was a shot gun or pistol, but as you move up for better accuracy enemies would flank you. Your partner is pretty much useless in firefights.

The qte and cutscenes could have been better off if they weren't so constant.

It scored almost twice as high on average than this though.

That can speak to the disappointment of The Order more than the quality of Second Son, though. I'm not considering a PS4 at this time, and it will probably be at least a year before it ever crosses my mind (lot of One and Wii U games I want to play this year, plus I want to get to the Kingdom Hearts games on the PS3, at some point). Still, The Order is the first exclusive (beyond MLB The Show) that interested me on the PS4.

InFamous just doesn't interest me at all, and it's for a fairly simple reason: It's cross-generational. If I was to pick up a PS4, I wouldn't have the original story from the preceding games, so I'd pass over Second Son. However, The Order is new IP, a chance to get into a new world that intrigues me and seemed worth playing. Since this has seemingly flopped, there really isn't a draw to the PS4 for me, now or in the near-future. If I was given a PS4 for free today, MLB 15: The Show might be the only game I have on it by year's end, simply because ever thing is either uninteresting to me, or it's a sequel to a franchise I never experienced (such as Uncharted, InFamous, and Killzone).

You actually don't need to know much of the story from previous infamous games although it gives you a better experience, kind of like watching breaking bad before better call saul.

The story in second son didn't interest me enough to finish it although I'd push myself to do it at some point. The order's story is actually more interesting in my opinion. I'm not sure how many chapters are in the game but I'm sure I'll finish it before trade in prices at best buy are posted.

Very true. The story in inFamous is much like Zelda and Final Fantasy. It might have some relation to the past, but can stand on it's own as an unique story. Personally, I loved the game and thought the mechanics was very well done. The powers where unique, but fit very well together to beat most situations. Also found it challenging at times, but no frustrating for the sake of it. I would rate it a solid 7.5/10 and probably one of the better games I've played lately.

Probably not a REASON to buy a PS4, but I'm glad I got one and played it. I liked it enough to play it through twice (good and bad) to get all the trophies. It's still one of the best games out there for the console, but that's more of a sign of how little there is on the console still.

So I've been playing the game for about an hour or two a day or so since I got it and I'm still not done with it, I'm only on chapter 5 since I was stuck on 3 for a bit. I'm playing on hard difficulty and the story is interesting so I actually do want to see what happens next. I'd say I played 4 hours and explored every area I could. That YouTube video the guy must have sped through it on easy.

Comparing either (InFamous or Order) to the bones exclusives (which are not really as they are coming to pc, or are on it already) seems the PS4 is ahead to me. Titanfall, community is dead, was a rehash of stuff we has seen a zillion times before. Much like any Halo crap that will be (yes I never liked halo from day one, so I AM BIASED on that game). Honestly ps4 and bone don't (either) have much right now, first gen I just cant find a reason to like, I am sure its coming, that must have game, but as you said, not here yet for either system.

I watched a streamer finish it on hard in about seven hours. He even started to rage a bit in the end because of the tactics of the game.

But that game has a lot of cutscenes.

yeah i know 2 people who have already beaten the game and they both said it's more of an interactive movie than a game. they both enjoyed the playthrough though.

Yea it is enjoyable, at least in hard mode. Just glad I didn't pay for it. One of those games that should be played but not for full price..rent or wait for a discount. Its not as bad as those that gave it bad scores make it seem. Its getting traded for bloodborne as soon as I'm finished.

Finally finished the game. Took a bit longer than I expected. Not sure where I can check how many hours I spent.

The story is good and it does a good job of keeping the action going. I always wanted to know what happened next. Has a lot of cutscenes but at the same time there are some interesting firefights as well. They did a good job keeping the narrative interesting and the graphics top notch.

I enjoyed the playthrough and they set it up perfectly for a sequel. Hopefully they make it a bit more dynamic and less qte's or cutscenes.

I'd give the game a 6.5-7/10 but I would not justify a full price purchase. The 7 being more for presentation of the story and graphics. I got it as a gift so I'll be trading it in to best buy for $27 today. If I had more time to play I could have finished it last week and got $33 for it but oh well. It was an enjoyable experience and it should be checked out if you can get a deal on it.

got it yesterday from sze5003, so hopefully i'll have some time to at least start it tonight. but if not, then probably sometime towards the end of the week.

is this a game that i can start and just play for like 30 minutes or an hour just to get my feet wet? or is it a game you have to sit down for a bit and play it to get to points you can stop and save it?

It saves automatically so if you quit you just start at the last checkpoint. Checkpoints are fairly available I'd say there are some every 15-20 minutes.

Edit: Usually every time there is a cutscene it saves afterwards and you can't skip cutscenes.
