The Overclockerz Store???????

Have you had any bad deals with the overclockerz store???? I ordered a overclocked t-bird that was to run at 1100mhz all it did was corupt my windows i pulled it out and slapped in my old cpu the reinstalled windows. They now wont return my calls or e-mails. I have been overclocking for about one year now so I do not what im doing most of the time HAHAHA. Please tell me any stories you have about them thanks.

yup they are a ripoff. see over on the hotdeals forum.. guy claims the chips wont do what they sell them as, and will not refund your money. i think your stuck.

guys - just to reiterate what some may already know: there's a place available for two things: finding out how well recognized (number of comments), how well rated (higher is better, and higher with many comments is best), and to leave high/low ratings and good/bad comments about a store. If a store had excellent service, share your experience. The same if the opposite is true.

when i was having problems with my combo they sold me they offered
to replace the chip mine was doing 900mhz i bought a 950 combo.

I have a rma # and everything.. but my chip is running 950 after a heatsink swap so no worries here. they are tough to get a hold of, which can be frustrating, but i've had a decent experience ordering from them.. altho i think they should include heatsink/fan's with
their combos, i nearly destroyed my duron using some crappy heatsinks
many many times.

Well I had a pretty nauseating experience with them, had to wait 2 weeks for my order to ship, the price dropped so I had to haggle them to credit me back, and when my order finally arrived it was wrong.

All i ordered was a Slot-A Tbird 900m (m meaning it was a 700 O/c'ed to 900), but the bone heads shipped me an unlocked Socket A Tbird 750! Well I was pissed off, but there was no way in hell I was waiting another 8 weeks, to get another potential wrong order so i went and snagged a KT7 and decided to see how good this sucker that I had was....Well to my suprise this 'blue meanie' does 1gig without breaking a sweat, and this is using an old celeron class cooler!

So i guess their incompetence works both ways

thats what this bad ass mofo is capable of right now...once i get a real HSF ill go for 1.05G and see how it goes.
