Yes, and they wouldn't have to listen to one of Joe's patented rampages replete with flying Gatorade containers, chalkboards, etc. He, he. He is such a mild mannered and quiet guy in person too.

I thought it was the people that elected the president, not God's will. I guess I was wrong.

Duh, it ain't the people, it ain't gods will, it is whoever wins the Redskins game

To really analyze this, however, I need to see all the statistics - like is this the equivalent of flipping a coin 15 times in a row and coming up heads? Or does the incumbent usually win, and do the redskins normally win at home...

I suspect the latter.

I think you've been dialing the wrong number. God doesn't reside at 1-900-SEXCHAT.
Ah, so *you're* the one who's been keeping O'Reilly in the dough.

Just thinking back, I'm counting the incumbent party losing in 8 of the last 17 elections

Braves, Redskins, Indians, Chiefs, etc. If we started one called the Fighting Whites would you be offended, I'm sure some of the face painting drunken hooligans would surely have a good answer for me.

What I find offensive, as one of Swedish ancestory, is when the Minnesota Vikings get totally trounced.

Should we change county names, town names to appease someone?

Many Christians including myself believe that not only does God affect who leads the nation but God actually affects what career every single person has.
What you do with that opportunity is totally up to you.You would not get any job at all if it were not for God's willing it. The President is no different except that he has alot more responsibility and alot more to answer for. If you believe in God I have to wonder why you would dispute that his power could be so great as to effect the minds of millions of voters to get his desired result. For the people that do believe in God , when you vote are you going to vote what you think God's will is because you know that is what is right or are you going to vote for what you think is best for you personally? Im not concerned about myself because I know that as long as I try to do God's will over my own that he takes care of me.

I've got a theory. I call it "New England Glory"

NE Patriots won the Super Bowl this January.
BoSox win the World Series.
Kerry wins the presidential election in a landslide.
NE Patriots win another super bowl.

Was a more impressive theory until the Pats lost today, but I still think it'll happen.

Human free will? I honostly believe God doesn't directly interfere in big ways such as elections, either someone wins because we make a good choice or someone wins despite a poor choice and even if we do learn that it wasn't the right choice, at worst our resolve will be tested.

Either way you look at it, if you're Dem or Rep, which ever candidate wins the opposing party supporters will fear doomsday and the worst to come for America, but its Americans that ultimately determine our fate, not one person who we can kick out of office if it actually does get that bad, not to mention these presidents are never alone in their leadership.

So, how do you know "God's will" for you isn't to sit on your ass on your couch watching Jerry Springer reruns?

This is the second time I?ve heard this from a Christian. I never got the opportunity to ask the first one, so I?d like to ask you. ?Why do you feel that God affects what carrer every single person has?? I would appreciate it if you would elaborate on this so I can understand where your coming from.
