This isn't the type of movie that will stand up to repeat viewing. If it's as gory and intense as the press is saying, I seriously doubt people would go back multiple times.

Most critics, atleast the major ones, see it as a work of art.

So much intense imagery. so many fine details, so much to soak in. The first time through I was so wrenched in emotion im sure i missed out on alot of backgound scene stuff.

Not everyone will see this and that is sad

Anyway, it has always been true that if you protest a thing loudly enough, you draw attention to it. Those who opposed this film and were so vocal about it guaranteed it's success. Talk about overreaction.
