Stop feeding the ignorant troll. These brainwashed idiots are unreachable. As you can see the ignorance isn’t just an American thing it’s global and until we figure out how to combat the bs on social media it’ll be pointless to engage.
I honestly never thought people were so dumb that feelings became facts. Red squirrel is classic example. He can’t grasp more people voting for Trump or feeling crime or the economy is worse now does not make those things facts. It makes it feelings. If 10,000 people feel that inflation is at 40% right now and not 2.6% that doesn’t make inflation 40%. The dumb burns

He can’t acknowledge Trump lost 2 million jobs as President and increased the deficit by 7.9 trillion and was found guilty of 34 felonies. Those are facts. To him and all the magats, “many people say” has replaced STEM.🤷‍♂️🤣

I think you are getting mixed up with the word feeling here. There are feelings, like "my feelings are hurt" which is what liberals tend to vote based on and then there are feelings like "I just got a paper cut, it hurts". The 2nd one is what people are feeling right now, and is based on actual reality. Inflation is a mostly carefully crafted number to ensure that it looks better than it is. There's lot of things they don't count in there, like cost of home heating, or property taxes. They pick and choose so that the number is lower than reality. Most government reported stats are designed this way, they want it to look better than what people are actually experiencing. That's how they gas light you.

Just talk to people, listen to their experiences. That last video of the shop owner I posted is a good example. Social media is actually closer to reality than MSM these days, because it's real every day people, sharing their experiences.

Have you noticed that the few people who pay for who gets elected are the same people to whom the vast wealth of the nation over the last decades has been redirected into their hands. Where do you think all that extra cost of living we are paying winds up? This is a system that can’t happen without the vote of ignorant self hating chumps?

The facts are that these problems exist and people experience them every day, and people want change. It's really that simple.

Voting based on facts instead of feels is why Trump won. The left always only vote based on feels.

Reversing roles does not a good argument make. Your post reads like some high school homework you wrote on the way to school. Pretty much already know what grade you'd get with that kind of effort eh? C'mon, put some effort into it fer cry'in out loud.

No. All your assertions are from your feelings. Your News source feeds you trash 24/7 and it shows.

We are experiencing a Post-Covid hangover, IMO. Many became paranoid about what the Epidemic was and they have stayed that way after it was over. "Change" is one thing, abdicating all power to a strongman is quite another. These people need Medical help.

When Trump was in power stuff was way cheaper, crime was lower, the border was somewhat under control etc. Just had to deal with mean tweets once in a while. I feel this 2nd term will be better. The first time he went in knowing nothing about politics. Now he has more experience. I'm sure he's been watching and studying things for the past 4 years too, in preparation for him being president again. Either way, time will tell. At the end of the day a politician is a politician. Big promises but they don't always come to fruition. Kamala would not have been any better. Basically would have been the same as last 4 years.
Proof propaganda works

Edit: I replied then realized many people already basically said this. I’m done, braindead magatarians aren’t worth my effort. Enjoy your super cheap eggs or whatever

The FBI stats disagree with you

Since the 90s violent crime is down about 60%

While peoples feel that crime is up which is incorrect

I asked you for facts and all you gave were shitty YouTube videos

It is interesting how reliably Trump voters vote based on their feelings, especially being the party of "fuck your feelings". I can't help myself and when people I know tell me that it comes off as elitist and condescending because I tell them they are stupid for voting for Trump and they dig in and get even more determined to vote that way it just becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I don't know if I personally can ever get over that fact and not tell them they are fucking stupid when in fact they are stupid and they vote stupidly and against their own best interests. Perhaps I need to be a better person and when people make horrible decisions and they have to live with those decision I should just pat them on the head and help them move forward, because we all make mistakes. The downside to having half the country being stupid is that everyone has to suffer for their poor judgement, but thank god I'm white and employed because I'll be alright. If you are one of the LGBTQ or Latinos or person of color that voted for Trump though feel free to just fuck right off with any whining in the future.

I just stepped in here amidst the "feeling versus facts" conflict.

I've proven here and in other threads that Trump supporters, new and old, don't know the facts and are equivocating about them at every turn.

Each day since Trump's victory has been announced, the news just keeps getting worse. I have several friends my age -- mid-70s -- who are deeply anxious and more so every day now.
This time, we're stunned by Trump picks of Matt Gaetz and Tulsi Gabbard for AG and director of national intelligence. Responsible legislators and commentators are aghast, and so am I.

It looks likely that these appointments won't float, but then -- we can never be entirely sure.

What we can be sure of is this, and it should cause any common sense American deep concern: THERE IS A CRIMINAL GANG ATTEMPTING TO RUN OUR FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.
I've noticed that Trump supporters now -- locally in my "face-to-face" experience -- are treating citizens of the opposition as if they should shut up, shouldn't voice opposition, or simply don't matter. This just proves again the underlying idea that the electorate -- the GOP portion -- have been infected with the idea that elections are and SHOULD BE a zero-sum game: As long as THEY win, nobody else matters, as if the Democratic (or any) opposition doesn't exist.

And so I hate to say it, but we cannot count on our "fellow" GOP citizens to engage in constructive dialog or assist in saving the Republic. We're going to wake up every morning with the worry that some other disaster is in the making.

How long will it take, and how much damage will be done, before the Trump supporters themselves develop a sense of loss and harm? You can lead a Moron to the Truth, but you can't get him to accept it. They are not going to be any help what . . so . . . ever.

I agree but the problem isn’t just maga cult members. What we are facing is now also infecting the “left”. Without any valid push back, the maga numbers will grow. What happens once we reach critical mass? One can only imagine. Eventually saving democracy will have to take a back seat to saving humanity. Personally, I think we need to cut off the head of the dragon and based on what I’ve seen, that’s Putin. However there are so many consequences to that that the fix might be worse than the problem. We need better relations with Russian allies in order to isolate Russia.

If you frequent any right wing areas of the internet it's basically "us versus them" and they actually talk about eliminating people on the left they don't like. They want everyone to live in an America they feel is what's best for everyone according to their beliefs, which is exactly what the founders did not want to happen. They want religion back in public schools, gays back in the closet, and for blacks to know their places. Women can have jobs, but they are still vessels and basically breeding stock for men. They value autocratic leaders and want to be led by a strong male figure. They love it when cops let white guys off for speeding, and love it even more when blacks get choked out for simply driving a nice car.

The America they want is so fucked up it ain't funny, we've spent decades improving the country, all to have it erased by this one orange narcissist who probably is only doing it for petty revenge and money, but taking all of us down with him. It's downright scary to normal people.

Just back it up a little. In ‘08, America elected a black president. The conservatives in this country, fueled by the propaganda by outlets such as Fox News and endorsed by GOP party leaders , decided to roll back to a better time when racism was the status quo. They spent 8 years waiting for a guy like Trump to come along and tell them that racist rhetoric was not only ok, it was what was necessary to save the country. The assistance from hostile foreign powers on any level didn’t bother them one bit. It became very clear leading up to 2016 that conservatives were prepped to ditch democracy….and they did not disappoint. Trump is the useful tool that was necessary to speak to the shittiest amongst us and garner support. I don’t see it, never will. He’s an absolute horrible role model any way you spin it

He's allergic to facts. When he was complaining about his bills and said they were X amount and posted a screenshot, it turns out he was using his feelings about how much he was paying rather than the actual data he was showing up. Same thing when he said Trudeau wanted to bring in 100 million immigrants a few years ago--he was referring to the Century Initiative to increase Canada's total population to 100 million over the next 80 years.

I find it pretty funny that a guy like Red Squirrel, an obvious security nut, thinks social media is the pulse instead of the bot infested networks on social media telling g people what the pulse is. Motivated reasoning is a helluva a drug

Like, social media algorithms give you exactly what you want, people are predictable and it works

He's smart sometimes, really ditzy other times. Maybe it goes in cycles or depends on what the subject is. Not an idiot, but seems to be his own victim in that he's adopted attitudes that keep him shaded from the light. Moving to the USA would likely be a really good thing for him, would be a shock that would peel away a lot of his mental armor. In this discussion he's blatantly in denial and seems absolutely unreachable.

A letter to the editor in today's local paper seems to explain Red's position quite well.

In part:
"The economy is a hot topic and in particular inflation. But Americans don’t care about the CPI, CPE, PPI or the myriad of detailed data published by overpaid bureaucrats. They care about the cost of food, fuel, housing, and wages keeping up. Meanwhile, academics and elitists obsess over data, while doling out uncountable cash to corporations."

Feels beat fact every time.

And yet, what do liberals campaign on? Rather than simply trying to compete with master rationalizers they should start campaigning on how voters fuck themselves by denying reality. It would require honesty no politician has, right? WHO will tell the public they fuck themselves. I will be observing through heavy lenses miles off shore.

Watching all the copium going on has been great. The icing on the cake is going to be if Trump's administration actually does fix everything. Democrats will really not like that because they want him to fail.

I'm kind of jealous right now. We're still stuck with Trudeau.
So you're not actually voting are you? Entirely too complicated and shit right?
