Politicians at the highest levels parroting tropes such as; government should be run as a business, advocating for smaller governments to create more "efficiencies" are usually disingenuous.

Maybe at the local town/city, or maybe at state level their are politicians that care because it actually effects the work they do, at the grass roots, in the local community those things matter.

But federal politicians for the most part don't give a shit about the national debt, or creating government efficiencies. At that level its all about eliminating the checks and balances, they are all bought and paid for as Carlin said years ago.

Eliminating government departments to save a few cents doesn't do shit, its all about finding ways to undermine your enemies, enriching your friends, and eliminating regulations to support your corporate overlord.

So I admittedly I don't really follow current events, but are trans men in female sports really this big of a problem? I know it exists, and I don't think it's right. But MAGAs cry about it like every 5th "female" in female sports is actually a dude pretending to be a chick. I don't think trans men should be playing against females, I also can't imagine it's anywhere close to the epidemic level the MAGAs are making it out to be. This shouldn't have been one of the main issues for Trump to tackle.

I'm not sure I can take anyone seriously who appears to be serious about using the full power of the federal government to address a very small number of cases that would be better addressed by the experts in each sport who are able to make informed decisions about rather or not advantages exist.
