You people are delusional. Got to admit I've been enjoying the cope though. DOGE has saved over 87 BILLION so far. Imagine being mad at that. Sadly, that's a drop in the bucket compared to the debt, but they are only just starting.

Lookup Stockholm Syndrome, that is what you guys are suffering from. It's a problem here in Canada too, considering there are still people who plan to vote liberal after 10 years of destruction of the country.
Ahahhahaha saved.

This is a sad response. The projection is strong.

Ah yes. The "it's not me that's delusional, it's everyone else!" trope!

Got to admit I've been enjoying the cope though.
Because that's the basis for good governance! As long as it pisses off the people you disagree with!

Literally none of that money has been saved yet. Government spending doesn't work like that.

Oh! Look at who's doing the "cope" now!

Put up or shut up. You claim 87 billion has been saved. Show us your evidence.

Can't wait for the schadenfreude for this dumbfuck shitweasel. I can't decide who I want to suffer more from Trump - this Canadian scumbag jackwagon or Greenman the morally bankrupt piece of trash.

Hard to decide.

It has been shown repeatedly that Squirrel doesn't care about real numbers (or the actual definition of words).
Here, he has overstated the savings claimed by DOGE themselves to the tune of $50 billion--and even their number, they admit, is "based on X.com/DOGE data*. Not official data (yet)"
Squirrel will never admit fault in any meaningful way.

No, no, no, this time it will trickle down and we'll all be better off! We swears it! We swears it on... the Precious!

It’s just nuts. This situation we have now is the check that has been building for 50 years. Will it be a checkmate and the US falls to fascism? We shall see, but it seems quite a few conservatives in this board are fine with it, and many many people in the USA are not just fine with it…but hoping for it.

With liberty and justice….for some. The new words for the allegiance

Either way it goes, the damage being done by conservatives in the USA will not be undone overnight, and some of it not at all

DOGE is costing the US taxpayer a fortune. In addition to the long-term losses that are going to result from the slashing of funding from all the major science institutions in the country, and the reversion to pre-civil-rights era where states could fail to provide education to any group they didn't like, Federal workers are currently being paid salaries for work they can't do because they're being denied entry to the building they have to be in to access the data needed to do their work.

It is also destroying the rule of law, such as it is. I mean, the leftists I grew up around always believed the US was a latently-fascist country that would one day turn so explicitly, because its political system was so ramshackle and its culture so rotten - and that appears to be what is happening. Slightly to my surprise (as I long ago decided those leftists were wrong about most things), that belief appears to be being born out.

For all the talk of 'freedom' and how guns protect it, it appears to be remarkably easy to just impose arbitrary rule by lawless dictat on the US - there's absolutely no opposition, it turns out, all you have to do is just ignore the laws and the courts and nobody does anything to stop you.

US democracy appears to have rotted from the inside out, and is collapsing without a fight.

You really are an idiot. They have not "revealed" any waste yet, they just make claims. They have not provided one shred of evidence. Looks like they never will:

This Squirrel guy is going on ignore. What a tool. He is worse than a MAGA in the US.

Now that Republicans want to increase debt ceiling by Four Trillion, while giving rich people Four and Half Trillion in tax cuts, op must be itching to come back to this thread and admit he is wrong right?

Providing link, look at all that savings

Let's say that is true (it's not, and Musk has already been caught lying), why is it being done by violating the constitution and breaking various laws, including cybercrime (hacking into systems)? Also, wouldn't a advisory team (DOGE) be staffed with financial experts rather than coders and hackers. Seriously, do you even know how to exercise any critical thinking skills, or is the hamster's wheel broken?

If only there was some mechanism in place to curtail the elected presidents power. Some group who's sole duty was to be sure his actions fit within the confines of some written rules.

If you think the courts, who just rule the president is immune from prosecution, or a complicit congress (stacked with R’s who took part in the insurrection attempt) will be your saving grace, well, trump and his minions have some more bullshit to sell ya.
