I mostly agree with you, but this is not necessarily true. Darwin is built on Unix afterall, and if you know what your doing - terminal in OSX can be just as satisfying as terminal in your fav Linux distro or what have you.

But the fact that shes a "gamer" and a g4 user, now thats definetely a red flag. You cant game and use an older mac, only a newer one with bootcamp and XP alongside OSX

EDIT: Scratch that, only hackers/gamers who have too much money would buy a newer mac and install XP alongside it. True hackers buy an Intel barebones ASUS laptop with a C2D and components that match up to those on a MAC, and then install the latest JaS OSX release alongside XP. But then again, women with too much money is never a bad thing.

Again with the whole, I have a mac and pc thing.

I didn't think they got that fast, but apparently thats the top speed of the G4. With 350 mhz being the slowest. And the Clamshell only came with the G3. Stinking Macs are always confusing me.
