You will also have to change your ATOT username. It should really be PManningFan.
I wish but have no hope that he'd go to the Chiefs. They should have the money, plus could bring over Saturday (if he doesn't retire) and/or Wayne if Peyton wanted. They have a pretty decent receiver group already, and if Charles comes back healthy could have a pretty special running back. Peyton could even be the OC. Most other player issues should be able to be resolved via FA or the draft. The defense is about a player (and a healthy Eric Berry) away from being pretty damn good (finished 11th yds/gm and 12th pts/gm without Berry, and finished right around there with him as a rookie and missing some of the young guys they have now).
And hey, it worked out pretty decently before for the Chiefs. If they got the same time they got out of Montana I'd be pleased (at least then it should close the door on Cassel).
There's no way it happens, but if they at least try would give me some faith that Pioli isn't a fucking moron.
I tend to think the Cardinals, Redskins, and Jets would be the leaders but I would not be shocked if the Cowboys made a play either.
I have a feeling Manning will stay with the Colts at least through next season.
If he doesn't, whatever team gets him will be hard to beat next year.

He'll never go to the jets because they are dysfunctional. I've been saying this all along, his best bet is with the Broncos. Look at what the team did with Tim Tebow. Look at what they can do with Peyton Manning. Plus, John Elway is there so its HOF QB paired with GOAT QB.
I don't know how he does. That's over 50 million for a guy to play one year. And I *really* don't think that simply bringing Manning back to play is going to put them into a position to make a super bowl run. There are too many aging, expensive pieces on that roster.
I have to disagree with this for one simple reason... with Manning, the Colts have been in the playoffs, every year except his rookie season.
Without him, they're 2-14. As IndyColtsFan said, Manning IS the Colts.
If Pagano can put the defense just above the bottom 5 in the league, there should be enough improvement elsewhere to get right back to the playoffs, and attempt another SB run.
I just don't see them paying it though, not with Luck sitting there for the taking.
I think the question of his arm strength is still out there.
You will be missed 18. I will hold onto your colts jerseys for you induction to the hall of fame.
Well, we'll know for sure that Peyton is done if Dan Snyder shows any interest.
