None of thoes soldiers in vietnam were fighting for MY RIGHTS OR FREEDOMS! They were over there fighting for vietnamese freedom. In the end they failed in their mission.

The same goes for all contemporary wars, including the world wars. America has been fighting for the rights of others, not its own. There havn't been any wars on American soil, there have been no wars that directly threaten our rights and freedoms, ever.
So I don't need to hear all the time how I need to praise soldiers for keeping my country and freedoms safe, because that's pure bullsh!t.

World War II didn't directly threaten us? Aside from our country being attacked, Japan's published plans included an invasion. They were working on a way to drop plague bombs on us that used fleas to spread the disease. They actually used these in China.

Just because a war isn't faught on our soil doesn't mean that isn't faught to protect us.
