Turbine is the worst for Pyro. Way too open.

Anyways, going to try this tomorrow. Got it downloaded, but don't feel like getting into it so soon. Also, it might be a bit hard to get some of the achievements when no one stays on fire.

Meh, they need to patch the patch. High pings, server crashes, getting stuck in chase cam and unable to respawn.... and I've only played about 30 minutes.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention this. My ping is fine, but on 90% of the severs, I get horrendous framerates for no reason. Also, my respawn timer keeps resetting when it gets to 0.

Don't worry, they seem to patch it again a day after every major patch comes out. Glad I didn't log in.

The flare gun is SO much fun. Destroyed a few lvl 1 sentries with it too. The best is setting an engy on fire from way back while he's trying to repair his sentry.

omg, with 31 pyros, I can be a Medic and just stand back and rack up my total healing points. Heck, I don't even have to move except put a paperweight on top of the left mouse button.

I just sat back and sniped. It wa snice until they threw a flames at me. Over all, the game got really boring with just all pyros running around (never really realized that they could run so fast).
When I got bored with sniping, I just used a demoman and threw stickies everywhere. I kept getting multi kills.

On a typical server, I'm seeing 5-9 pyros on a 14 person team. Field day for soldiers and smart engies - at least until they start learning how to use the compression blast. As mentioned above, medics can go crazy.

With the 'stuck-in-chase-cam' glitch, I've found you need to enter spec then re-join your team. Not terribly fun.

I'm looking forward to after the craziness dies down and I can play the pyro for a bit without being "one of those people".

Retards are out in force yet again. Not only is everyone playing Pyro, most of them are whoring for achievements... as in, actually demanding other players change classes for e.g. the Spy taunt achievement and getting angry when their achievement "partner" is killed by someone just looking for a good game. Ironic part is, Valve pairs these updates with a free trial weekend to lure more people into buying the game and this is anything but typical gameplay.

Epic failure on Valve's part for the supposed balance they're apparently going for.

The Hadoken is great fun to use. Its almost impossible to kill a decent player, as its so slow, but it insta kills anything.

I'm also attempting to kill a sentry by blasting back its rockets. I will post if I succeed

looking at the steam forums, the respawn problem is specific to the BeetleMod.

Still far to easy to get killed as a pyro. But it's definitely BETTER than before...

I managed to reflect a crit rocket it killed the soldier and 2 people around him...twas fucking awesome

wow, love the patch. Unlocked the back burner and flare gun. Best part is, you can go head to head with a regular pyro and beat his ass since you have more health, plus if they retreat you hit em w/ the flare gun. mmmmmmm

used the compression blast on gravelpit, point C (the tower) to knock off a defending soldier. i felt like a genius and got the cap.

all other servers i tried were people achievement whoring. got about 5 and gave up, way too hectic. can't wait for the game to get back to "normal".

I still haven't gotten the healing gun. Maybe with all the pyros I can get it today.
