Yup. I'm torn in these situations. On the one hand, such revelations are an inherent violation of the spirit of service; they lessen the honor of those who make them. On the other, does it make sense to allow America to be sold a false image, or to limit those benefitting from a military operation to politicians whose lives and limbs were never at risk?For fucks sake. I'm not registered with any party in my state, I'm a small "i" independent. No party affiliation, I don't even get to vote in the primaries. When it comes to voting, I've always voted for the pile that smells the least.
