Losty I agree with Assim1 (as usual). If your system is still too noisy with only a power supply & cpu fan something is not right with one of your fans.
Losty, there's some stuff called dynomat that they sell in car stereo places. it might raise the temps of your system a little, but if you really want to quiet it down, it's the way to go.
our homepage has links to all sorts of programs that can cache work units. i just started using the cli (command line interface) version of seti as opposed to the gui (graphical something interface), and i use setidriver to cache work units as well as run the program for me. to cache work units with the gui version, i used setiqueue (pronounced - q), which is a dos-based program, but works great. there are instructions for all of these programs either on that program's website or on our own. let us know if you have any more questions - we're always willing to help out. for example, check out all the help i got when i asked about the cli version here.
