Craziest thing is I've come to realize that a certain percentage of these kook's actually WANT the world to end on their watch because in their "minds" it lends some significance to their existence somehow.

People are going to willingly implant things in their bodies because bio-tech augmented technology to enhance human bodies will become a thing sooner than later.
