reminded me to check my new 401k management fees.

"The plan incurs annual recordkeeping fees (e.g., legal, accounting, auditing, and recordkeeping) of up to $61.00 per participant account, deducted in equal quarterly amounts"

$61 dollars??? bastards!

61 isnt that bad.
fidelity charges $50/yr (12.50/quarter) for my companies retirement plan.
its on top of the individual funds costs, which thankfully isnt much since it;s fidelity.

That sort of cynicism is an excuse for a quote reminding there's more than dolllars:

While I agree with your quote, I still stand by my statement. The reality is that I will be old one day, and physically unable to work. I'm going to do my damndest to ensure that I am financially secure for when that time comes.
