Alright guys, here is what I need

-I need something as fast or faster than a 8800GT, or 9600GT
-Has to have two DVI outputs
-Would prefer a lower profile card, would use a 2 slot if I have to, but a one slot card would be better
-Low power consumption. I don't want something thats taking two 8 pin power connectors to run.
-ATI or Nvidia, I don't care.
-Under $150 US would be good, but I'd go to $200 if I have to

Thanks for any help guys

Strictly looking at low profile cards, sparkle does make a 9800GT low profile, but it does only have one DVI and one HDMI (but you could use a HDMI to DVI adapter if you had to). User reviews dont look so great, but it would be about the same as an 8800gt.

Though this one is a two slot card, and also has one DVI, one HDMI (along with one VGA), there is a low profile 5750 card out there too, that I think would (IMO) be a much better choice for low profile (I am thinking of getting one of these myself for my HTPC) -

You are going to have far more and better options though if you want to go with a full size card and not low profile.

I'm not sure he means low profile, since he talks about 1 vs 2 slots, he said lower.

I assume he wants a normal sized card which only uses 1 slot on the backplane, and not an actual low profile card?

I should clarify. When I said lower profile, I didn't mean a full low profile card, I mean a regular size backplate, but the card doesn't extend past the edge of the backplate as this will cause some problems with my case cooling.

Sorry that was pretty confusing

The Asus EAH5750 is a compact card that doesn't require a lot of power, but it only features 1 DVI connector

Its either regular or low profile, single slot or dual slot. I think most cards don't extend past the back plate.

There is an XFX 5770 at NewEgg for (at this very instant of time) $149.99 and less if you get the rebate (I just got mine) and is single slot with 2 DVI. Go to NewEgg, do a power search and check the specs. See if that is what you are talking about.

I own one. It doesn't look like it sticks up any higher than my old 6800 NU, well maybe just a fraction. It's single slotty enough for me.

The 5770 is faster than an 8800GT in every review I've seen.

Edit: Always forgetting something: The 5770 has rather low power requirements.

Thats not a low profile card.

Also the 5770 is not a low profile card.

Low profile cards are 2.7 inches wide.

He didn't mean low profile Happy Medium. From his second post. And what he posted was confusing, but I interpret he means single slot.

I think this is the best way to go. I found the card referred to here. There are only two single-slot 5770s I can think of...Powercolor makes the other but it's more expensive. Every other card I'm finding uses two slots.

I upgraded from an 8800GT to a 4850 then to a 5770. Saw some good performance gains each step, should do well.

Argh, medium's edit beat me by less than a minute.
