The Japanese version is listed on the BB ad this week so I'd assume you could get it there or online. I haven't seen either version. A lot of people I know said this movie sucked so I think it might be a rental.

Either, the writer of the movie thought of this and wondered if anyone else would pick up on this, or it is a complete coincidence.

i remember that show...was good.
"7" was used here simply because in many cases 7 is an unlucky number...in other cases its a lucky number too so whatever, superstition crap or something...as for conundrum, i didn't catch it in this movie..where was it?

Anyone notice who has watched the movie notice how eerily similar it is to the Silent Hill series of video games? Even down to the treatment of the little girl... the writer must've played that game and been influenced by it I'm sure it just parallels to well with it...

Also I thought it was hilarious how the movie kind of makes you wanna copy it or rip it "just in case" so you don't get killed too LOL way to further us taking those copyright laws seriously heh..

I don't remember exactly where in the movie, but when it was said, I immediately chuckled. I bet some people in the theater were wondering why?

I'm gonna play the movie through again and see if it was just a glitch.

Did the phone ring?

Edit: Leave a message a week from now, and let us know you are still here at that time. Oh wait, maybe you can make a free copy for your friend. Go buy DVDXCOPY or something quick.

btw, since CC has it for 14.99 and BB has it for 15.99, you could still do a PM at BB for the CC price and save that extra $.10. woohoo, for being able to squeeze out that whole extra dime!!!!!

There were like 7 movies in Japan based on Ringu...although from what I've read none of the sequels were as good as the original. Plus, with a movie like this, once you've seen it the shock value is no longer there.
