I don't care what high school kids and people without a third digit in their IQ, think of me.

you sure don't even have greater than 1 IQ score. One can see that by just seeing your post history and contributions to conversations here since March 2009.

I agree with you there. AMD only have themselves to blame for the kamakazi type of decisions they made lately. With that said, they still have a cpu lineup that offers some sort of a alternative and a gpu lineup that rivals the best in the industry and that's no small feat. That's also why you and others are afraid... they're still kicking and that bothers you a lot.
I'm only afraid that AMD will go belly up and allow Intel to slacken off even more on increasing performance.

But just because I am concerned by that, doesn't mean I won't challenge absolutely ridiculous things said by AMD fans.

At the end of the day, people shouldn't be trying to create their own version of reality and should instead face up to reality as it really is.

Considering I joined in April, why are you mentioning March?

You must have a negative IQ. :awe:

You're the one making up stuff and not admitting Intel's wrong doing when several people already asked you to. Biggest troll award goes to you sir.

What am I making up?

You want everyone who is accused of something to be declared guilty before they even have their trial.

What a trailblazer in Judicial Matters you are. LOL

Why did they agree to pay again? I wouldn't pay one cent to someone trying to blame me for something i never did. That's only logical

Your unreal reality is the one where you can go see your
neighbour , ask him one billion and he will give it to you
for free , without asking why....

Only a die hard extremist fanboi would support the idea
that Intel paid 1bn to AMD for no reason or by sympathy...

Because as a Publicly Listed company they have a fiducial duty to their shareholders, so when an opportunity to close a Court Matter comes along for a trivial amount to Intel, they do that, rather than run the risk of getting a jury as clueless as the OJ Simpson jury, who might find for AMD.

That is why I previously said they weren't going to play a game of chicken with their shiny new Rolls Royce against someone driving a clapped out rustbucket and deathtrap.

No doubt it was also proving distracting to senior management to have to be worrying if a Court might be keen on doing a partial anti-monopoly job on Intel too, just to save AMD's sorry arse.

Rebates were given under the conditions that no competing
product is sold by the firm benefiting from thoses kickbacks...

Still legal according to the Intel fanboyz.....

Why can't I order a coke at Taco Bell? Is that illegal?

They are not Court Cases where any Court Decision was made against Intel.

You are getting Commissions mixed up with Courts and Settlements with a Court Decision.
My knowledge is rusty, but afaik rulings by these commissions may be used as reference for future court rulings. That's why I'm not sure why you're focusing on that line between commissions and courts. Also, evidence and witnesses are cross examined in front of both.

Not a single case that I know of was dropped without settlement or ruled in favor of Intel and they had to pay four billion Dollars in fines and settlement as well as giving a number of valuable concessions to AMD. If you ask me they should fire their legal department if they actually were innocent of all this.

The problem with AMD is they have made themselves irrelevant. They hyped up BD which was one of the most atrocious cpu launches for them.Heck even the first gen core i7 beats the top dog 8350 in a number of games now, I'm sorry AMD has only themselves to blame.Intel settled with NV too but they didn't stumble like that.

Opteron64 window launch is also flawed , actualy it was
launched in March/April 2003 , yet according to the curve
it still didnt gain significant market share two years later despite
being notably better than the competition , one can only wonder why...

Because server platforms are long lived. Companies don't upgrade just because there is a new cpu out.

Just like servers sales didn't collapse the day Derpdozer came out, but took two years to reach where they are today. Even AMD says this in their reports.

I'm surprised you didn't know this.
