Tepid cheers. Completely unenthusiastic speeches. Really hollow material all around.
A little surprised this is the best the GOP could do.
I thought Dr Condoleezza Rice sounded more presidential then all of the speakers put together.
She should have been in the VP slot but there is an obvious problem. Being wed at the hip to religious conservatives has its handicaps.

The only demographic that is going to derail the GOP is the bias media.Every time I tune in it's old socially conservative white people ranting about how America used to be great, that Obama somehow vaguely destroyed it, and that voting for Rom-bot will somehow fix that...without any concrete plan.
Demographics are really going to derail whatever is left of this party in the coming years.

Meanwhile Obama is campaigning in Iowa.
Let's not also forget that CNN, msnbc, abc, and even PBS all either didn't show or cut in and out of every speech made by a "minority" at the event. Including former Black Democrat and 2008 Obama supporter, Artur Davis. I guess the lame stream media doesn't want Americans to see a black man off the democrats plantation???
There's no denying that the media in our country for the most part is liberal biased and pushes agendas instead of report on them.
There's no money in regular news. Only hyped up bullshit.

Factcheck on that speech. That fucker was lying through his teeth at an amazing rate. Not talking about campaign promises either. Just full on lying about what actually happened in the past. Too bad GOP will still slurp that shit up without missing a beat. They keep using the words PLAN and DETAILS
this close to the vote there are no plans nor details coming from the GOP
Its like if they SAY the words....people will just believe them.
Edit: Oh and a whole lot of rewriting history. And that just pisses me off
Ryan:
Here we were, faced with a massive job crisis so deep that if everyone out of work stood in single file, that unemployment line would stretch the length of the entire American continent, Ryan said. You would think that any president, whatever his party, would make job creation, and nothing else, his first order of economic business.
He went on: Instead, we got a long, divisive, all-or-nothing attempt to put the federal government in charge of health care.

The first order of the Obama Admin was TARP and ARRA. And ARRA was fought TOOTH and NAIL by the GOP with sooo many concessions by the part of the Dems to get economic relief to the country.
http://thehill.com/conventions-2012...mps-up-after-first-round-of-convention-actionTAMPA, Fla. — Mitt Romney’s image received a 5-point bump after the Republican convention’s first day, according to data presented at a Wednesday breakfast sponsored by The Hill at the law offices of Holland & Knight.
Romney had a 43 percent favorable and 44 percent unfavorable rating in nine battleground states heading into the convention, according to an average compiled by RealClearPolitics.
A survey conducted by Wilson Perkins Allen Opinion Research in nine battleground states Tuesday evening found Romney’s favorable rating among likely voters had jumped to 48 percent. His unfavorable rating dipped to 39 percent.
Anyone see any serious pushback from Obama campaign spokespeople?
Cable tv channel commentators actually at convention see gidd after Ryan speech, but almost seems like Obama campaign is content to let Romney have his moment (because they know it is not a game changer and won't last?)
And no teleprompter...imagine that! She's a class act.I thought Dr Condoleezza Rice sounded more presidential then all of the speakers put together.
