Reckless is going as much as 70 in a 25, and passing on a double line.

For the most part reckless driving is up to the officers discretion, and most judges will take his word on what he considered reckless.

You are lucky it didnt get written up as reckless driving which (in Oklahoma) is a hefty 4 points on your record, and most insurance companies consider it to be the equal of a DUI. Also in Oklahoma, cutting a corner through a private drive is considered reckless driving, a friend of mine, who later joined the Police Dept, found out that little tidbit of information first hand.

I got two tickets; which I stated in the main story. One for Reckless driving, and one for Passing in a double lane.

Your best bet is to contact a good lawyer, he can get it reduced, which you will need, since insurance companies are so harsh on reckless driving.

When we were first married, my wife had a "transporting an open container" on her record, we could hardly get insurance because of it. Our insurance guy said insurance companies consider that to be as bad as "careless driving" which is a much lesser ticket (2 points for careless driving, as I said 4 points for reckless driving) than "reckless driving."

Yeah reckless I think is up to their descretion. Passing at 95 on a double lane would be considered reckless.

Cyberian: I think you just misinterpret my messages. You have to understand I have a very sarcastic attitude, and I put no emotion what so ever in saying anything.

As for being let go scotch free, I?m pretty sure that won?t happen, but in the back of my mind, I?m really hoping that will happen.
