I'm absurdly anti Trump and outrage not found here.. The company of the dancers' employ was hired for a show and some are refusing to perform their job responsibilities. I don't see any issue with firing them for it.

exactly. It would actually be even better if enough of them refused to perform and the show could not go on, even having them lose their jobs (probably not so easy for those girls to just lose those jobs like that). Though I assume there are plenty of stand-ins willing to replace them.

I foresee a Rockettes "Scab" incident much like the Air Traffic Controllers Strikers that St Reagan strong-armed out of their careers as one of his more noble and compassionate actions.

If someone on the right would refuse to preform for the Great Obama they'd be called a racist.

OK.

I swear, Michael, you have stockpiled more straws than there are purported slivers of the True Cross in the world! Truly epic!

Ahhhh more outrage over nothing. What new outrage will tomorrow bring?

I'm not outraged, I do feel bad that some of these young women will feel that their future opportunities to perform will be in jeopardy if they don't kick their legs up for a rapist. I'm not surprised that most on the right don't care though. It will be interesting to see which superbowl champs go to the WH since they have a little more autonomy.

Someone does, that's why i'm making fun of hypocrites like you.
ok, I'll bite, how does this make me a hypocrite?
Someone is refusing service to someone in a public business, which by definition is discrimination, and then we have someone who doesn't want to do their job because they do not want to be involved with someone they deem to have questionable ethics at best.
So one is a direct violation of the law
Longstanding Colorado state law prohibits public accommodations, including businesses such as Masterpiece Cakeshop, from refusing service based on factors such as race, sex, marital status or sexual orientation. Mullins and Craig filed complaints with the Colorado Civil Rights Division (CCRD) contending that Masterpiece had violated this law. The CCRD ruled that Phillips illegally discriminated against Mullins and Craig. In December 2013, Administrative Judge Robert Spencer of the Colorado Office of Administrative Courts issued a decision confirming that finding. Masterpiece Cakeshop appealed Spencer’s ruling to the Colorado Civil Rights Commission. The Commission discussed the matter at a public hearing on May 30, and issued a decision at a public hearing on May 30, 2014.

The Commission’s order affirmed previous determinations that Masterpiece’s refusal to sell Mullins and Craig a wedding cake constituted discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation in violation of Colorado law. The Commission also ordered Masterpiece Cakeshop to change its company policies, provide “comprehensive staff training” regarding public accommodations discrimination, and provide quarterly reports for the next two years regarding steps it has taken to come into compliance and whether it has turned away any prospective customers.

And the other is....

awww someone doesn't understand the discrimination laws. so sad.
Them there laws only apply if it is convenient for right wingers. If the state has a law in place that clearly protects different groups of citizens a business owner has the legal obligation to abide by it. Christians know that they are obligated to obey the laws of men so in effect they broke God's laws by discriminating against the gay couple (see Romans 13). Jesus taught his followers to respect others but in this day and age anything goes at church which has turned into a hate factory.

Trump's team is having trouble finding acts for his Inauguration. I figure we can come up with a suitable party plan.

We could open up with Green Day performing "American Idiot.". Then, Alec Baldwin has already offered to sing "Highway to Hell."

Then, we could have a full set of songs by Pussy Riot to round out the musical portion.

Jeff (fuhfuh) Dunham (DunHAAM) dressed as Putin with Peanut dressed as Trump and a special announcement that Jose Jalapeno-on-a-stick and Achmed the dead terrorist were not allowed into the country.

They could get a lineup of Republican Party bigwigs to do their "sit", "roll over", "beg", etc routines in a literal performance-art sense. for example: Ted Cruz would look great jumping through hoops!

A final flourish -- a stage-magic act where you put a GOP apparatchiks sporting NeverTrump t-shirts and signs and, presto-chango, when the puff of smoke clears they're all staring into space wearing made-in-China Trumpware and MAGA caps.

Anyone you deem questionable, but that others don't. As always a leftie thinks that only their own prejudices, biases and bigotries are allowable, that everyone else's are forbidden.

It's a horror if a Rockette has to perform for someone she doesn't want to, but it's lawsuit and hate time if a baker doesn't want to perform for a couple. Hypocrisy much? Oooops sorry, it only applies to those on the right, we all know that lefties, liberals, progressives and Democrats are exempt from the rules they apply to the right. I keep forgetting.

They were not sued by the government. The BoL made a ruling based on a complaint filed with them.

Obviously the Rockettes are not also a public business. Nope, they are some kind of journalists. High kicking journalists.

Actually it is pretty obvious that they are not a "public business" (technically "place of public accommodation") to anyone that has read the relevant law(s) and understands why they exist.

*sigh* You silly lefties.... you'll defend/excuse the actual rapists on your "side" and accuse the innocent of it instead...

The world grows so weary of your hypocrisy.

The difference is, the baker doesn't want to service a sexual minority. People don't want to perform for Pussy grabbing Trump probably because he thinks sexual assault is ok.
