I have seen Titanic and Forrest Gump as well....and I am not sure how they are considered sad movies. My daughter "now 15" still goes around sometimes and says.....Jack, a boat. And I remember in the theatres that I busted out laughing when the guy fell off and hit the propeller...DING....lol

Now, Reign Over me....that damn thing is sad from the beginning till the end.

So? They died together, like all old people would be lucky to do. Basically the movie tells us that they actually did end up back together, had a great big family, and loved each other up until they were too old to actually remember it.
