<<..The fact the the Ain'ts have made it this far in the Playoffs demonstrate the mediocracy of the league...>>
I don't know what football league you have been watching. I have been watching the NFL all season long. Sure there are gonna be bad teams in the NFL. The Saint's success is due to the coaching staff and player determination. Free Agents that were overlooked by the rest of the NFL were brought in to play ball. They are stealing the limelight and are making names for themselves.
<<..5 years ago most of the Clubs in the league second teams would have been able to whoop ass on these wannabe's..>>
Again I am wondering what league you are watching. Watching football 5 years ago was dreadful because it was either Dallas or San Francisco dominating. The Saints lacked guidance. The Saints were stuck with a conservation coach (Jim Mora). Jim Mora will NEVER win a playoff game until he changes his philosophy.
<<..Here's hoping the Viking can bring some respect back top the league by sending these perenial losers packing back to N.O...>>
So what excuse will you make when the Vikings lose Saturday?
As far as the crack on Young. He was a great player. The Saint's are not the only team to have scrambled his brains. The same goes for Troy Aikman. Now it looks as if Kurt Warner may be on the road to suffering the same fate. The point is, they are playing and knowing the risks involved. The Saint's have always been known for their aggressiveness on the D. When you play with fire, you are gonna get burned...
