When I go to the Correlizer web page, and click on "My Account", I get a warning from Firefox about an untrusted connection.

Does anyone else get this? Or has someone installed a proxy server on my machine?

Details:

svahesrv2.bioquant.uni-heidelberg.de uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is not trusted because no issuer chain was provided.

(Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)

Yeah - I get the same with FF.
You can use IE9 instead for that or simply setup FF to allow that site.

I put 8 cores on it last night checked this morning and no updates on the website, nothing seems to be uploading. I guess I don't know what to expect. I checked Pending Credit, etc. and everything is still zero.

maybe we are making all the University of Heilderberg system sweat big time!

anyway I dont know the answer to this...has your machine been getting WU, crunched them and are ready to upload?

mrjoltcola, you have pending work. Some projects have turned off pending work listing but haven't told anybody about it. I got so frustrated with Seti@home doing this that I made a user script to fix it. If you "// @include http://svahesrv2.bioquant.uni-heidelberg.de/correlizer/home.php", it'll work on Correlizer too.

same here - I don't know how the credit system works over here (I'm used to F@H) but it still says nothing. I told the client to update and a few WU's that were finished now are gone from the "Tasks" list...still a bit confused.

Yeh it crunched all night and I have a lot of pending "waiting on validation", so does that mean it uploaded?

The last distributed project I did was the DES and RC4/RC5 crack projects in 1998-1999, and back then, we saw instantaneous progress reported.

The website shows all sorts of pending work, I just don't know what else to do. My cores are 100% right now on work units. I was waiting to see how I helped before putting more boxes on it.

@ nitrous9200: That's good, it means that you're crunching properly. In many boinc projects, you don't receive credit until the others with the same WU also complete it. That can be very fast or very slow depending upon who got the WU.

To further expand on that, depending on the project (PrimeGrid Seventeen of Bust for example), you won't receive credit until enough results have been returned (after a period of 20+ days). I'm still waiting for a SoB task that I completed months ago, but no one has returned any results (besides aborted or otherwise).

Just something to keep in mind if you haven't received any credits.

Yup, it uploaded. Once your results are validated (i.e. by another cruncher), you'll get the credit.

TeAm AnandTech
RAC = 136,922
Total Credit = 5,177,493

SETI.Germany
RAC = 123,851
Total Credit = 5,753,675

Difference in Total Credit = 576,182

Our RAC is still above theirs so that's good news there. But we just can't get a break in closing that gap in total credit.

Apparently their threat to "end the race" was just a ruse to get us to relax. As Roscoe P Coltrane would say, we need to "put the heel to the steel"!

Yes sir, moar cores! If I had money, I would get 2 x 12 core Opterons "Mangy-Cours". No idea what is taking AMD so long to get them out but it would be interesting to see what kind of improvements 2 x 16 core Interlagos will bring over Mangy-Cours.

If SR-2 builds were "cheaper", I'd consider buy a rig and get that running. Then again Evga is coming out with the SR-3 in the future.

Yeah, with market movement towards newer tech, it's not really a good time to be investing in anything unless the older products come with a large price cut.

Nah, cheap Thuban boxes oc'ed to 4GHz FTW!

On a related note: Must resist urge to replace my 720BE with a 1090T.

One of the members from SG pmed in order to help with this question.

He basically indicated one needs to View "Tasks" from the account view instead of View "Pending" in order to see all the WUs one is working on. It is considered normal or defect by design that Pending is 0.

Warning that looking at tasks takes forever...

Not really, the "Task"-page is really informative:
If you look below the table of WUs you see how many that are pending, how many that are valid, invalid, with errors. The also you can see which WUs you
have crunched.
You can click on any of these links and then look just at those WUs ...
I like it very much!

Yeah the task page is great, it has lots of good info...I don't know how long it took for me to load but it was more than 5 minutes, I think.

I hope the new members start to get their WUs validated and start to count.

I noticed SG has a new member 'biancaw' who is pretty productive.
