Okay I'm posting this for my girlfriend, because I'd much rather play Doom3 or Farcry than The Sims, but she can't get enough of it.
Anyway, on my desktop (WinXp, P4 2.0, SB Live, Radeon 9800 Pro), The Sims has some major weird echo problem (it doesn't sound right at all, just sounds extremely echoey like you're playing the game in a cave).... and then recently the sound disappeared in the game entirely.
I am wondering if there's a hotkey to toggle reverb, or even a hotkey to toggle sound?
