It's strange reading elsewhere on the net how the US not getting the olympics has been painted as a failure by obama. I'm sure he spent very little time on this. He flew in, probably worked on the plane on the way there and back not thinking about it, gave a speech, the US didn't get it, and now people who are eager to belittle him use it as an example of his failings. He is disappointing in real, valid ways, but this is not one of them.
