Bracingly smart, brutally funny and acted to perfection without exception, The Social Network lights up a dim movie sky with flares of startling brilliance. Director David Fincher (Fight Club, Seven, Zodiac) puts his visual mastery to work on the verbal pyrotechnics in the dynamite, dick-swinging script by Aaron Sorkin (The West Wing), and they both do the best and ballsiest work of their careers. The Social Network gets you drunk on movies again. It deserves to go viral.
My 13 year old niece wants to see this, she was like "OMG, Justin Timberlake!!!!!!!! AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!"
So I blocked facebook.com on my sister's router.
It'a a movie about facebook.
It's a movie. About facebook.
A movie. About facebook.
REALLY? About facebook? REALLY? SERIOUSLY? Facebook? REALLY?
i really can't believe you guys...the trailer looked TERRIBLE...
aaron sorkin (the guy behind west wing) wrote the screenplay.

maybe i'll see it once it's on netflix to see what all the fuss is about...
A Beautiful Mind was about game theory.
No. The movie featured game theory for a very tiny part of the movie. The movie wasn't about game theory. This movie IS about facebook. Pathetic.

The movie is important as it shows how the fb really got created.
Zuk basically stolen the idea from bunch of people and got very lucky.
The movie goes into great lengths explaining that.
It is NOT about the FB, its about greed, money, and betrayal...
Too bad that the sheep herd in general does not care about morals and keeps using this stupid site...
Except it's not. It's about how it was founded; it's about greed; it's about relationships and how success can impact them. Hate on Facebook all you want, but do you honestly believe this is a film about people sitting on Facebook, playing Farmville, and updating their status?
