Someone made a great point on another board about Little Carmine. He has to have a pivotal role in the final episode you would imagine. He's been setting things up for a long time now, like when he spoke about Phil's dead brother at the sit down with tony last season, or working with Christopher on cleaver, and the latest saga between tony and phil. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out.

Ny guess is that the ending is going to involve Janice in a big way...

they forshadowed the whole "scared of Tony" thing when he was at Bobby's lake place. Now that Bobby is dead there is no telling what Janice might pull at the end.

All I know is that I hate the HBO producers for making it end. Damn.

I will be freaking glued to the HD-TV next week and I hope it's a good ending.

Tony's been awfully friendly with "Agent Harris" this season. I'm wondering if he MIGHT go into the witness protection program to protect his family. Everyone around him who he trusts is gone...Christopher, Silvio (presumably) Bobby, (not sure how far he trusted Bobby)...Paulie's still around, but looking out for his own hide (see the way he peeled out before he could be seen with the "goombah cousins"?)
It wouldn't bother me in the slightest to see AJ get knocked off...he's turned into such a little emo puke that he's about worthless.
Next week should be interesting, to say the least...

Sil, what a pisspoor ending for him, I doubt they'll reference him again other than to say he died. I've got a feeling Pauly is toast after next episode as well as Phil. I really don't think they're going to kill Tony for some reason. He needs to pay for what he's done but at the same time I think everyone is expecting him to die.. I still think my theory about AJ getting killed is going to happen. What better way to f' up New Jersey forever than by killing the next logical choice after Sil/Bobby got whacked?

Anyhow, last nights episode was awesome. I really felt like they were making it similar to Scarface in a way, the way Tony was up stairs with his assault rifle, almost like he's going to be the last one to defend the keep when they make their way up there.

Also, I believe that they are in Juniors house, which wouldn't necessarily seem like the safest places to be.

Also the theory about Janice taking out Tony seems very plausible, especially after seeing the look on her face when Carmella went to see her.

It's not a spoiler about the next episode, it's a fact about the character.

Tony Sirico made a deal with Chase when he signed up that his character will never get whacked or become a rat. Things may change, who knows?

Best Episode since Seasons 1 and 2.

I hope that Tony gets killed. Like Dr. Malfie said, he just doesn't give a sh!t. Judgement day is coming tubbie. Also, I wouldn't mind them taking out that pvssy AJ and Carm, just leave my girl Meadow alone.

And mark my words, a Soprano woman will be taking the reigns after Tony gets killed.

They already dropped that huge forshadowing hint where Meadow talks about how AJ will always be more important because he's an Italian son, that story is almost sure to unfold.

If HBO and the producers have any sense what so ever they'll do a movie after this. There are far too many loose ends to tie up in one more episode.

I have a feeling there will be a lot of good stuff in the last episode, but that overall it will be a let down because of too many loose ends and unanswered questions.

They could have done SOOOOO much more with this season, but instead they had to fill it with "fluff" like the AJ depression crap.

And how much time did they waste on Vito getting his ghey on? This episode was no doubt great but it's still too little too late...half of this season could have been like this with the guys on the run and people getting taken out here and there.

And if they didn't have that episode, people would be complaining about how some character storylines weren't resolved. Junior was the one of the most significant characters for the first 4 seasons of the show. He deserved an episode to himself, a last hurrah where he's busting balls like the old days. That's what they gave him.

Agreed and there are several other pointless threads in the Soprano's. Ahh well, I've already ranted about this stuff a million times. One more episode left and I'm pretty sure it's going to rock (though Tony going into protective custody would cause me to take the shotgun to my Soprano's DVDs) so I'll just enjoy it and block out the piles of steaming crap.

this is what Sopranos should be like. My heart was pounding when when the "goomas" (sp?) hit the wrong man. I thought this is it. all out war now. And the way they killed Bobby was awesome. Sil deserved an exit like that. Yea too bad Chris is no more. He could've kicked some @ss

Bobby no doubt thought Phil was dead. That's why they open the scene in Bobby's car and you hear his cell phone ringing. If he had gotten the call, he probably would have gone into the hobby shop "heavy" , or not at all.

Ahhh, that won't get resolved...I don't think there's really anything else to say about it. The rapper (wasn't it Treach?) was just a side tangent...is there anything they didn't resolve? That was Bobby that had the shirt w the DNA at the beginning of this season. I thought he was going to get locked up for it but I guess not.

I really, really hope they resolve the Russian thing in this last episode but I know there's no way in hell it's going to happen.
