Farming makes sense but that abattoir looks like it was set up to just drain people and then dispose of them. That's bsically what happens. Food chain with supply vs demand in the books. Eventually the vamps win out for a time in books. Most humans die out and the remainder of those living are basically cattle. Only pregnant females are given any form of preferential treatment as humans by the vamps. There are several reasons for this as explained in the book.
BOOK:They showed him moving like a blur so whatever direction he was moving, I think he's safe. The ancients, or whatever they're called though, pretty sure them and everyone else are toast.
Going back to the book spoilers - if the ancients are all part of the original angel and they're destroyed, does they're power transfer to the remaining parts or is it just lost?
If that is the case then...Just gone. The MASTER is called the master because he's the colony of worms that came from the head of the body of Azreal. The original body parts give life tot he worms and that is it basically. It's only when the body parts are exposed to the fury of gods vengeful wrath in the light, basically being nuked to a crisp by a nuke, then the body part is eradicated as well as any of the worms that came from it.
BOOK:If that is the case then...
Just nuke NY and be done with this mess...they would never see it coming.
So back to the show, is the box that was shipped from Egypt was that supposed to HAVE an ancient in it? For some reason I thought the box was wanted because they could keep the Master in there and subdue him because it was lead/silver lined.
Well damn, I hope Quinlan survived that blast but seemed pretty powerful and looks like he was going toward the suitcase instead of away from it.
The books escalate REAL fastThings need to escalate fast if next season is going to be like the last book . . .
Well considering Ive basically only read the books and watched the first season. Everything I have posted has been book spoilers. That and they requested as book spoilers. But can add the word book before spoilers tag.Elixer, HumblePie Please tag book spoilers as book spoilers. When you've nested spoilers without tags it leads to unintentional spoilers as I think it's about the episodes the other night. While the mistake is mine, I would appreciate it if you'd tag what's book so it's a non-issue going forward.

Never read the book, so, I can't put book spoilers...Elixer, HumblePie Please tag book spoilers as book spoilers. For what it is worth, seems the book & TV don't always mesh from what HumblePie has been saying.
I don't remember Angel getting hurt and having to go to the hospital in the books, is that different?
He died fighting the Master before the nuclear explosions IIRC.
