Yeah it's been a long time. I'll have my Crabtree jersey on and my 49ers flag on my car as I drive up to my parents house for the SB party!

Me. I don't bet or gamble in any way. I'm afraid of losing money. I guess I have a very healthy amygdala.

I might take a big step next season and get involved in a fantasy football league my cousin runs with a $10 buy-in. Even that's a bit much; I'd prefer a $5 league but I think I can work up the courage.

While the amount of Super Bowl commercial time has increased from 40 minutes and 35 seconds in 2003 to 47 minutes and 25 seconds last year, the number of commercials aired has fallen from 83 to 78 during that same period. With commercials of a minute or more making up 19% of all ad purchases last year, there's far too much cash on the table for a company to risk losing its Super Bowl advantage.

Any sport that has so much money involved is most always fixed. They should start called football 'entertainment' like professional wrestling does. Not really much difference; athletes jumping around trying to make what was a sport look real.

I don't watch soccer, tennis, hockey, etc. but when the World Cup or other big sports tourney rolls around I can easily get into it and enjoy watching it.

I don't go out of my way to watch it, but if I was invited to go watch it somewhere I'd probably go just for the social aspect. I don't really follow any sports. Any sports I do sorta follow is hockey, but even that, I might watch one or two games in the season.

I always watched the Superbowl. I've suffered through 18 years of the Niners being out, the time has come. I may even buy a new tv to celebrate the fact they are in!

I'm from Baltimore so I'm pretty psyched to see the Ravens make it after several years of good but not quite good enough performances. It's cool that an all-time great like Ray Lewis will be ending his career in the Superbowl and to be honest I hope that Ed Reed makes this his last season as well.

I'll probably miss the first hour or so of the game because I've planned a ski trip with friends. Adjusting for time zone differences the game will start at 3:30 PM where we are. Skiing takes priority over the Super Bowl, even if the Ravens are in it.
