No one actually forced anyone to do anything. It was a fictitious case - SCOTUS defied their own longstanding precedents on standing to take the case because they are clowns.It's interesting to me that this even became a case. Why would you want to force someone to do work or perform a service for you if they didn't want to? It's not like you're going to get their best effort. From the providers standpoint, it's easy enough to find an excuse to refuse taking the job, I've done it. Sometimes a client comes along and right from the start you can tell they're going to be a problem, so your price goes way up or you're to busy to do the job.
If it's an idiot that say's "I don't work for gays or blacks" would you really want that clown doing anything for you? Could you swallow your pride and hand him a check when he was done? Could you eat the cake he made you knowing that it was made with plenty of spit and God only knows what else?

The plaintiff falsely claimed that there was one such request. Which when tracked down by media, was a straight, married, man who never contacted the plaintiff. It was never even pretended to claim that the plaintiff was ever charged with breaking Colorado law, so there was indisputably no present harm to the plaintiff to justify any court case, even if the completely fabricated request had been made.To top it off, the challenge from the so called web designer was bogus in the first place. Not one SS couple had asked the challenger to deign a website nor has the challenger ever designed such a website FOR ANYONE be it SS or be it opposite sex. This was an entirely made-up attack on a minority class, concocted by entities with objectives that go far beyond that of simply designing websites.
Stay tuned... Now they have been empowered AND they will be back. Filing lawsuits up the ying yang attacking the LGBTQ community every way imaginable until the day comes when they finally get what they really want, to nullify marriage equality across the board by using the US Supreme Court.

What it means to me is that when the Supreme court obtains a majority membership of religious bigots who wish to subject the rest of us to that bigotry, owing to the fact that our forefathers saw them coming and established clear and rigorous constitutional limits against it, the case they will present to do so will be couched in non-religious terms.
