It's a movement, so pretty much the lowest common denominator rules.
The smart ones however want cut (I mean completely erase):
Medicare
Social Security
Whatever the fuck they just passed
USAPATRIOT
NAFTA
The DHS
The TSA
The CIA
The IRS
The Federal Reserve Act
All laws which criminalize the possession, or distribution of ANY DRUGS
99% of all federal law passed in the last 50 years
Any regulations which threaten the sovereignty of the US (secret trade agreements/treaties)
That would be a start. Baby steps.
I agree from the top of the list, through NAFTA.
Our Fed IS to be tasked with the defense and security of this sovereign State, and those departments starting at the DHS are largely necessary. Do they need to be within their own fancy little department name? Not necessarily, but the busybodies who do all the labor are definitely important.
The only other option in this anarchic international arena is for the states to provide their own resources for security. But without a uniting central body, it would be without unity for such a task. They need their own resources for security within the state borders and between states, and the 50 states need a single body to do all the international work.
Oddly enough, some of the most "well that actually makes sense" changes to the Fed departmental hierarchy were really somewhat recent. Like who answers to what, sharing information so there isn't time wasted, and whatnot.
Why the fuck it took that long to happen? Hell if I know. Some further consolidation of information and whatnot, and the size of the Federal laborpool could probably shrink some.
possession and whatnot? Definitely leave it up to the states, kind of like alcohol regulations are at the state level. Technically the drinking age is as well, but some crafty pressure from the Fed limits the ability to truly exercise their freedom to determine that for themselves.
And indeed many federal laws are just inane.
